SIMPATCH for OmniPod

Reliable and Comfortable – A Must-Have! I’ve been using the SIMPATCH adhesive patches with my OmniPod and I couldn’t be happier! These patches really stay put—even through showers, workouts, and hot weather. They’re gentle on my skin, easy to apply, and remove without irritation. I love that they help keep my pod secure without peeling or bunching up. The material is breathable and flexible, so I almost forget it’s there. I have been using OmniPod for 5 years now, and I just cannot believe I didn't find these sooner. I have lost so many pods to unfortunate fitting room, pool, and doorway incidents, which the simpatch could have prevented. It fits nicely on top of the existing adhesive of the pod, makes it feel very secure, and does't come off until you need it to. The OmniPod adhesive does not withstand water exposure too well, but that issue seems to be entirely resolved with a simpatch on top of it. I have not noticed any irritation on my skin, and the removal was not any worse than removing just the pod alone. The edges will begin to peel occasionally towards the third day, but you can also off the edge that is peeling to stop it from going any further. Overall, I am very happy with this product and will be purchasing some for my Dexcom CGM, too. The price is a bit up there for 20 of them, but I think it is well worth it. You will save plenty on pods and insulin you didn't lose, and you will have one less thing to worry about as a type 1 diabetic, which I find priceless.

I first bought the Dexcom patches and loved them so much that the next day I bought the Omnipod ones. I will be writing a separate review on the Dexcom product page. I bought these mostly because of my 8 months Goddaughter who loves to pull on my pod daily. The patches hold up very well and come in a nice purple color which I love. I have warn them for the full 3 days plus the addition allotted 8 hours with no problems, pealing or skin issues. I wouldn’t go as far to say that I have ‘sensitive skin’ but other products have left skin irritation and sticky film behind. The adhesive is gentle but strong. I will advise that they are a one shot and you are done type of product. Once you stick the product down there is no pealing it up and using it again. What I do is take off half the backing, line it up with the pod, stick it down and then remove the other half before stick it down. It seemed to help to keep the two patch sides from ending up in the wrong place or accidentally sticking together. The price is also about half what other products charge as they normally range from 3 dollars for one patch to 16 dollars for ten.

I've been using these for years with zero problems. They are very easy to apply and they hold extremely well, even after getting soaked by multiple showers. I'll never use anything else.

My husband uses for his omnipod insulin pump. He said the patches stick well without irritating his skin. Appreciate the convenience of ordering and getting them delivered to the house. Will continue to keep ordering.

I love these over patches for my O5. Work great, reasonable price and provide some extra protection for the summer baseball season when I need it. I don't have issues getting them on and off nor even know they are there. Kind of wish they had different color options but it's not a big deal to me. I signed up for the subscription to save a little cash and ensure I have them on hand when needed.

It’s a good thing I only wear my pod for 3 days. These wouldn't last much longer. The sticker ends up peeling and leaves a lot of adhesive behind that is difficult to remove. My stink is raw from scrubbing it off.

I wish I could do 3.5 stars. It’s great and helps if my pump is already peeling off but if it gets wet it can come off slowly. Recommend for any quick fixes but not what I would bet on for any long term needs or doing any extreme activities or swimming.
