Work great
These work great. I have read some people complaining they can't get these on the hose and think they are the wrong size. They are challenging to start sometimes especially if it's cold out and the plastic hose is really stiff. You can run an extension cord and use a hairdryer to heat the hose and you'll have no problem. Alternately you can use a pair of snips to cut a short 1/8th or 3/16s inch V shape out of the end of the hose to get it started. It still requires a little hand strength and effort to get it all the way in.

For 0.71 size main irrigation lines
When you have a leak and cannot get the two ends to fit, this amazing little tool is perfect to stop the leak and just saved your checkbook a few hundred dollars. If I can fix the irrigation line, YOU CAN! I bought 5 because I was so excited about how easy (and cheap) they are to use!! No more heat gun, trying to push the main line onto another piece that is nearly impossible. I’ve burnt the edges of the line, my fingers, etc before finding this tool. Trust me. It’s literally as easy as putting two ends into it and covering it back up!!

Easy, Quick Repairs
My dog loves to attack irrigation lines so I love these compression couplers. I used it to repair the geyser you see coming from my irrigation line. Fits snugly, doesn't leak, is inexpensive to purchase. A good repair option.

Hose A can you see
This works well as a quick temporary repair. Slide the two ends of the hose into the coupler and voila its done. I would not rely kn this as a permanent fix because with enough pulling the hose ends can pull out but as a short term repair this is excellent. I have several in my kit for emergencies or being stupid and hitting the line with lawn equipment.

excellent solution
These are perfect as hose ends but also as hose connectors to a bib extension- the metal connectors were never tight enough for a full seal, but these are perfect. Don't pay more than $2 though, they're still just plastic.
