Great leader for trout fishing nymphs on an indicator rig
I fish mostly for trout using a double nymph rig under an indicator. I switched from a standard 9' 5x RIO leader to these 9 months ago and am glad I did. I like the extra foot for longevity reasons and I feel like the coloring helps me pick up strikes just a little bit better. It is also easier to see in general which helps me mend the line more effectively. All of this might just be in my head, but I honestly believe that I've been able to detect more strikes since switching and have definitely landed more fish. I highly recommend these!

Great leader for fishing stillwater
I use these leaders when fishing on stillwater and I ALWAYS have “tippet rings” where I tie this leader to the described ring and actually jump a few “X” sizes down for my flies. This leader and the “tippet rings” are required for stillwater fishing
