A thrilling must read!
A legend. A decaying house. A cliff. A murderer. A caregiver. Hope’s End is inhabited by the relics of the past. Miss Hope who is said to have brutally murdered her entire family and is now paralysed and left with limited use of her left hand. Kit Mc Deeree, the caregiver assigned to care for her also comes with a tainted past. A patient in her care committed suicide. Kit is equal parts scared & enamoured of Miss Hope. She hopes to find the truth about what happened on that Ill fated night in 1929. Like all of the previous Riley Sager books, The Only One Left, too hooked me in from the first line literally. And in true Sager Style, this one delivers twists and reveals right from the first page until the last. Dark, Twisty, atmospheric, with complete gothic vibes I loved, loved loved this book. After a while, this one has literally been an unputdownable book for me. The setting of the mansion, the ocean, the wind, the crumbling house, the tilt, the lack of light it all so beautifully set the mood and the mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Will definitely pull you out of a reading slump!!
This book pulled me out of my reading slump and I literally finished it in two sitting!! Though it felt kind of dragged in between I still enjoyed it. You’ll be getting insanse plot twists throughout the book!!

An engaging thriller
Though the plot is not entirely convincing ..On cannot put down the book because of the narrative style of the author and story line which is full of twists... though most of the story is dark and sad ..It has a happy ending..I thank the author for giving this book..You will love the book if you like thriller novels with some horror elements
