Incredible
We have young kids and not only have these been so helpful for the larger scrapes, I also cut myself while at my workbench and was so impressed by how easy and effective these were.

Great addition for First Aid around the house
Very compact, great addition to my first aid kit. Tried to get DermaClip, but I’m not a doctor so couldn’t get the RX. So glad DermaClip came out with the OTC product.

Not very effective for wrinkly or hairy skin
If you’re using this on children or young adults on hairless skin, they’re probably a decent option. The kit that says it can be used on elderly people doesn’t really work on wrinkly skin. They also don’t adhere to hairy skin all that well, at least not the original version. It kinda makes sense when you think about it. I’m going to keep them in my emergency kit for sure; they’re definitely better than nothing, but they didn’t really work for my application.Be aware of which kit you’re buying because all the pictures show these packaged with gauze, a covering, and alcohol wipes, and it’s easy not to notice that only the “extreme” version contains these, so if you’re getting the regular version, make sure you already have these things. In short, better than nothing, but only really helpful for certain, specific applications. One other thing. Since these are “powered by” zip-ties, the plastic ends stick out and can catch on things once you don’t have an occlusive dressing over it. If you cut them, you’ll leave sharp edges which could ironically cause additional cuts, so if you cut them, file the ends smooth. This review is NOT sponsored, unlike almost all the others.

Cheaper than a trip to the ER or Urgent Care
So, first things first -- I'm not a doctor; this is *not* medical advice -- it's a review of a product based on personal experience.Overall, I'm very pleased with these -- you can think of them as Zip-ties for wounds; basically you have a very sturdy adhesive on the pads on either side, and a one-direction zip on each side that will pull the two pads together and lock them that way. It allows you to put one on either side of a cut and pull it closed, then hold it there. Not a substitute for a compression bandage or other treatment, just after being wounded, but an excellent step to take to minimize scarring, and help prevent the open would from getting foreign matter into it.They come with alcohol pads (important; besides being antiseptic, they also help clean your skin so you get a good adhesion), and both gauze pads and dressing to put over the entire thing, which helps keep the wound protected. They each can handle a cut of about 1 inch; 2 total, if you use both, but keep in mind -- these are closer to sutures; they aren't very far apart before being used, so they are really meant for fairly clean surface wounds; anything that you would normally suture (with dissolving sutures) below the skin, first, is probably not a good fit for these. They are a bit expensive, given that it's only two of them, but not prohibitively, especially if you plan to put them in an emergency kit, where reliability is more important than affordability.

Don’t waste your money!
The media could not be loaded. These do not work at all. They popped open shortly after my first video. Also you cannot discard of the thick plastic straps.

Very pricey and portions are pithy.
Very unforgiving. If applied perfectly, it works well but any misstep will result in pricey “practice” rounds.
