This is a great welding hood! High quality construction with a few bonuses included in the package make it a great deal. I have ordered a couple other hoods through different suppliers and this one is unmatched. Really cool design and great auto darkening lense at this price make this hood a great buy from novice to daily welder. I was surprised also at the quality of the gloves included. Quality leather and a heavy duty feel. Package includes a few replacement protective lens shields. Fast delivery completed an all around great experience. I have both this and the Antra AntFi X-60-2. This is decidedly the better made of the two helmuts and at about half the cost it is a real bargain. Batteries are super easy to change (unlike the Antra's) and the head gear is beefed up. The Pivots are better quality and the thickness of the nylon helmut itself is about twice that of the Antra. This one is going to offer better protection when welding overhead. I judge this to be a best buy! Of course you can pay a lot more and their are better helmuts, but this one is pretty damn good. Way better than the low price would indicate. I only paid about $24 bucks for mine on amazon. .

Completely awesome!! This one is great. The auto dark works really well.I like that it has the low battery indicator, the test button, and you can adjust the sensitivity and the delay before it lightens again. The helmet stays up when you want it up, and easily flips down when you want it down. The knob on the side is easy to make adjustments to brightness with.It's lightweight and comfortable to wear. I've owned some more expensive hoods and this is just as good as those.

Works very well and actually has exceptional color clarity. I've used it for MIG and ARC with excellent results. Haven't tried it with TIG yet. Only issue I had was the headband comes in uncomfortably on the sides for my big head, so I swapped it out for another. Definitely not a deal-breaker as headbands are cheap!

Great performance for a budget helmet, works better and with more features than the old HF helmet I was using that did not have option like this one to change batteries so is now a fancy grinding helmet with the dimmer removed...Head strap has more adjustments too, can move forward or back from face, 3 settings..Reminds me, have to go out and turn mine off... Not used to that feature on the darkness dial.

Excellent Helmet. I have welded for years and have had expensive helmets and this one performs just as well. Is comfortable, Light weight, Great Optics real clear so you can see what your welding and watch the flow. Very user friendly.

I love this Helmet , Looks and works great . Gloves well I used my own , This is a light weight Helmet that is functional and protects you face at the same time .

I purchased one because the two I had and the gloves came up missing. I help the youngsters learn to weld. I can’t do much with my lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis. Now I saying that I can’t have a lot of sun light or welding heat or light on my skin and eyes. I know my first chance, I’ll be ordering one more of these. I love the sensitivity of the lens, and I recommend to anyone who is looking for a welding hood
