Having had bad snow and now ice in West Yorkshire, walking anywhere, has been truly awful. Recommend by a friend after I slipped and fell several times walking, these are just what you need to keep you upright and most off all safe in the bad weather. Easy to put on and a handy bag to keep them in. Worth every penny if you have bad weather and like to go out walking.

Easy to put on and kept in place whilst walking in ice and snow

At first sight they seem well made and fit boots well. However, the test is always in actual use over time and whether any of the chain link connections fail as too often happens.

Super useful item

The large fits a size 8 walking boot. The cross strap that goes over the top of the foot is threaded through the rubber holes and i think, in time, it will shear. Lets see. I have used them for the last few days , on ice, in minus 5 and all is good. These are spike grips and NOT designed for climbing, just not slipping when walking. Overall a good buy and recommended
