bright and practical
I spent over 2 hours researching amazon and clicking "customers also shopped for:" before I found this.I chose this one because it has a good ratio between the different frequencies of visible and invisible light; the heat-sink is well-built, and 2 lights are great for having good coverage without crowding the area.Goose-neck is flexible and clamps are great at clamping at window-edge. the cable was too short for where I had it plugged-in so I used an extension cord.light was too bright I bought a timer and programmed it to turn on while we're at work :)

Good lights from good design
Very Bright, good quality looking, perfect for potted plants.The bulbs still feel cool to the touch 5 hours after turned on. It emits purple/pink light brightly. The lamp itself, seems are make with quality. There are separate switches for each lamp. The flexible necks hold a pose well and the clip is very strong and sturdy.

60watts is really only 13watts
“60 watt” version only draws 13 watts according to killawatt.

The bulbs aren't replacable!
These lights don't have replacable bulbs. It seems almost a joke. Who would knowingly buy a lamp that becomes useless as soon as the bulbs burn out or break?
