Hoodoo for War and Peace: Working Magic Spells for Justice and Protection (Hoodoo for Life Book 3)
J**.
I’m loving this series.
This book, and the other two that make up the trilogy (so far?) serves up Hoodoo knowledge in a smart, easy to read package. There aren’t a lot of authors that I trust for hoodoo, so when the authors I do trust put out a new book, it’s pretty much guaranteed that I’ll be picking up whatever they put out. Angelie Belard is definitely one of those authors. This book, I do have to say is my favorite of the three, protection magic is so big, way bigger than the few books that are out there about it could possibly handle. I love that each spell has a “star” ingredient to learn about, so you can go on and work with it again.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Okay
The peaceful side of things is preferable to me. If you want good and bad then this book has what you’re looking for.

Recipe missing from the book
A review is probably not going to get my question answered but I see no other way. Spell 11 mentions a cursing oil. She says to find the recipe for the oil in spell seventeen but there are no oils mentioned at all in spellseveteen. Has anyone found it? I keep looking but haven't yet.

Worth It.
I find this is a great tool. I have all the books in this series. I find when I am doing a working my Ancestors put their Asè on it.

Interesting Read, but the author is questionable
So this book is billed as an African American Hoodoo book, but I am not sure if that is the case. This woman's picture turns up odd results when you search for it on Google. Use discernment if you decide to take any of the advice from this book.
