Finally, I found the most useful, reliable, and well mad torch that doesn’t drive me crazy when I cook. I have tried many butanes torch on Amazon and MOST of them were pain in the ass, whether with the button or the flame. Joflam made my happy life happier specially with Length of the flame which is like Charizard in Poke’mons. The spark in Joflam is like Pikachu when gets mad. It also has safety feature for the start button useful specially if you have kids around the kitchen all the time. Basically, it’s worth every piny and strongly recommended.

We’ve had several torches in the past. This one by far is the best. It heats well, easy to use, and a rigid. It looks a very nice appliance in our kitchen. We cannot ask for more. Worth every penny!

This cooking torch sounds and looks like a plumbing torch. It has a nice hot flame that is adjustable. It has a lock to keep the flame and a view area to see how much fuel in in the tank. This has a nice hot flame that is great for caramelizing food or heating shrink tubing. This will be great for lighting the fireplace or when camping. There are so many uses for this handy dandy little torch. Pricing is a bit of a problem. This is one of the highest priced little torches. There are many that are just over half the price and probably just as good. I give this four stars because of that. The torch is a five-star torch but I can’t give it that when the price is so out of line. I can recommend the torch itself for its quality and usability.

It worked fine until it didnt. After about a dozen or so successful ignitions the button used to light it locked up and the was the end of its functioning life. Would not recommend or buy again.

It’s one of the best torches I ever bought. Easy and very save to use specially if you have a child. It also has one of the longest and hottest flame and its adjustable accurately. I strongly recommend this torch and I will recommend it to my friends too.

The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my fiancé. I love the sleek and easy to use design. It has a nice safety lock feature so that when you stop pressing on the trigger button, the torch turns off and locks. If you want it to stay on, you just slide the continuous switch and it stays on. Great for searing steaks, BBQing, and camping. Butane is also easy to fill. Highly recommend!

The Butane torch is plenty hot enough for flaming Cream Brûlée or searing steaks but not too hot. A propane blow torch can also be used in the kitchen but the 20% greater requires a more delicate touch. The propane is more convenient to hook up and used with a standard small size camping stove tank but refilling the canister on the Butane torch is not hard once you figure it out.
