Like most things on amazon this is junk.. the leather is paper thin with foam sandwhiched inbetween n sewn. It requires a collar to be used and will not work with a choke chain at all. I have a shebu rotty mix about 40 pounds and with the collar completely tightened she barks n yelps just fine. It also rides up into her eyes. U cant cut it down cuz again its not real leather. They do supply a leather punch for adjustment but theres not much room left. Its effective for biting but she can still nip. To be perfectly honest im going to print out a template and buy a sheet of quality leather to make my own.

We have a larger-than-standard bear-type Samoyed (shorter snout). We measured him as just into the large range, very close to the split with Medium. We ordered the large, mainly because one example breed for the Large was Samoyed. This was WAY too big. He's a big boy, and we had to crank the head/neck strap all the way to smallest and he still got it off within two minutes the three different times we tried to put it on him. For a female Sam, or any close to the standard, it would be ridiculously big. On a wolf-type Samoyed, it might work better due to the longer snout, but I would still recommend Medium at the largest, and consider the measurements as being generous.That being said, the quality seems decent. The leather is soft and seems good quality. The loop that fits into the collar is a must. I don't like the little nub that goes up the snout toward the eyes -- the tighter the fit the more this goes to the eyes, and in our case as tight as we had to make it, the edges of the nub were moving into his eyes, which is obviously not acceptable. This could probably be cut off, though, if everything else was working.I think how well this works for you depends on the shape of your dog's face and how much he will fight it. If a fighter, I think this would work best on a broader face, to prevent it from riding up too high. For a calmer dog, probably wouldn't matter so much.

First and foremost this is a very unsafe muzzle. The material is cheap, the front is open which no matter how tight makes it plenty susceptible to if your dog gets away from you they can get a bite, it’s also not great for pant room either especially if you want your best odds against a bite. That said- I LOVE this muzzle for introducing and training muzzled obedience! You can deliver rewards to your dog, it’s light weight, flexible, affordable and replaceable, and generally pretty damn adjustable. I recommend it to anyone who is working to create more advanced obedience behaviors with a muzzle on. I would buy ten more.

Just received it today and upon opening it was very excited! Not only is it well put together, but it is honestly quite fashionable.I ordered a size M which fit perfectly on my husky mut mix.So... I made the mistake of putting it on her and walking out of the house for a few minutes and not but 5 minutes had gone by and she had torn the muzzle off and damaged the product. So dog owners, make sure you condition your dog before you leave them alone with it on!!!Besides that, this however really looks like a promising product and I can tell you it is made well! I spent a few hours researching muzzles and different products and this was the one that not only looked the best, but also has many good reviews about it and countless stories of it really working.Upon emailing the company I very quickly received an email back and they are offering to replace the muzzle and give me free-prime 2 day shipping.I will have an update for the product once I receive my replacement and spend some time actually conditioning my dog and using it properly. This is cheap, feels heavy made of cheap material and was WAAAAY to easy for my dog to remove. Poor performance as it only stayed on for 3mins45sec. It was easy to use but Ill fitting, even after I used the included hole punch to add more holes to the straps and I measured the way they told me. Even with all the Buckles & straps Adjustability is still limited By the cut of the fabric

I ordered an xs small for my RatTerrier and was extremely disappointed because it was extremely big and would have fit a much larger dog. The metal buckles were annoying and most like would be uncomfortable for the dog anyway (2-3 under chin straps. Piece of crap.

This is for my dog's "timeout". Since I cannot send a dog to the corner, and I dont want her seeing her crate as a punishment, I put this muzzle on.It is for when she starts to play too rough and uses teeth, or for when she chews on anything she shouldnt. It has been amazing. It fits her head and attaching it to the collar keeps her from sliding it off.She is an American Foxhound, mostly full grown now. It has worked like a charm in training her. I make her wear it for ten to thirty minutes depending on her "infraction". And once it comes off, she is on her best behavior. Now, I merely need to show it to her for her to calm down when she is getting too rough with the kids or a guest.I imagine this works best on dogs with snouts though. Specifically thinner snouts, not bully breeds or the like. This is not stretchy.

Good quality leather and really well made. Strong but comfortable and fits well. Works great for my pitbull.

Snug fit. Proper leather means it last's a lot long than synthetic materials.Best muzzle on the market IMHO

J'imagine que cela peut-être différent pour chaque chien. Chappy est un Américan Pitbull Terrier de 4 ans et sa circonférence au nez est de 12.1 pouces. Alors on a commandé un XL qui était beaucoup trop grand. On a donc échangé pour un L qui était encore un peu trop grand. Finalement on a encore échangé pour un M qui a fait l'affaire quoique un peu serré, mais cette cuirette est expansible et va s'étirer avec le temps. Chappy l'accepte mais ça le rend très triste car il ne peut pas réussir a l'enlever car ses griffes glissent sur la cuirette. Enfin, il ne peut plus aboyer a son plaisir et les voisins en sont heureux. La muselière fait très bien son travail dès qu'on a la bonne mesure et. surtout; MERCI A AMAZON de leur coopération ils ont accepté tous les retours et je n'ai pas eu de frais supplémentaires a payer.
