Gikfun Mini DC 6V to 12V R385 Water cooled Water Pump Air Diaphragm Pump EK1856

This pump worked PERFECTLY right out of the box. I am using it with an arduino for a bit of DIY watering system. I've purchased other pumps in the past that did the work but seemed to struggle. This pump has plenty of push, I have 3/8"OD piping connected to a small 1/4"OD tube running to a pitcher of water. It transfers the water with ease and is actually extremely quiet! I purchased 2 for prototyping and experimenting with them, but they have me sold. I'll be ordering more extremely soon.From other reviews i've seen, they say it doesn't self prime. Mine had no issue with priming whatsoever. I left plenty of air in the tubing while initially connecting it and it deals with it with ease.

I needed a portable misting system for use when selling at the flea market... This has plenty of pressure for Multiple misting connections. Now I drop a water line into the ice chest and get super cold mist. It's very hot in Texas but this sure helps. Also can be ran while on a boat fishing. I am very impressed with the pressure. It seems to draw about 0.2 amps (200ma) on 12 volt, so it can be ran on 11.7volt lithium battery pack. OH yea, it does NOT siphon when you turn it off

Works great, pumps strong enough to damage itself at 10v. i bought 2 pumps and after 14 days running on and off(temperature control) it has 1 of the sections leaking.2 fixes, better material for the diaphragm and the plastic hole the diaphragm is in is rubbing on the diaphragm and rubbing through, if the holes were tight at the top but opened up it would not rub.

Im using this pump to drain 16x20 darkroom trays which are impossible to walk to the sink with.I made a little barb sinker and put the end in the tray and the other in waste bottle.It drains the tray in a minute or so. Its definitely a great pump and I can recommend it.

Pressure I,liked the high pressure its pretty quiet. I have no idea how high this pump could pump water straight up in quarter inch tube, but is running nicely through like 30 feet of copper tubing, through 2-6x2" heat sinks, and through a CPU cooling system and it is not just a tinkle either, this thing beats the water through like a hummingbirds heart. Nice job making this pump keep up the good work.

Wouldn't work for a second, pumps water, but leaks everywhere. Cheap motor that was clearly salvaged from some other electronic, it had previously been soldered and the plastic was burned and yellowed. If you want a cheap pump that doesnt work, buy this.

I got this pump to run on my 3d printer that I converted to water cooling. It is extremely quiet. I have to look at the vent on the side to see the stator inside spinning to make sure it is running. I’ve had it run on as little as 3v without stalling. Self-primes so you don’t need to worry as much about an air pocket stopping it from working like some other designs.While it can also pump air, it makes a horrid whistling sound. There are other pumps that work better for air.May 10, 2019 update. So after a few months of using these pumps ive learned that they are not rated for 12v. Most of the time i had them run at 5v and only going to higher voltages for short times to fill my water cooling loops and deal with air pockets. Last night both of my pumps started smoking anytime they got over 6v of power.
