PVS 14 J Arm Night Vision Goggles NVG Mount Metal Helmet Mount Rhino Mount Compatible with All Models of PVS14

Okay so it actually surprised me.. mounted snug on my helmates shroud, the J arm is a clone of the wilcox with out the auto off wiring. The Jarm has some play but in all honesty when in use its really not noticeable.The dove tail shoe is actually in spec lol BUT the dove tail on the mount isn't, it's more wide then it needs to be. The interface actually clicks in good but you do have some play.This mount was supplied with two grub nuts to secure the shoe into the mount for a no play installation.My only advice to any one who is thinking of buying this is to get yourself two plastic grubnuts of the same thread and use that instead of the metal ones that are supplied. You'll get a nice secure fit that won't back out when installing and removing and no wear on the dove tail shoe.Also, it looks like the break away function actually works too, although I tried it on the lower spring setting just to see.

Great Dovetail mount for a PVS-14; made of aluminum, it's sturdy and secure. I had to switch out the attachment bolt to attach to US-provided, imperial standard bold, but everything is provided in this unit. I highly recommend; well constructed and well worth the money

No wiggle, nicely made, seems solid, time will tell on longevity, wish it had markings of some sort tho like pictured on the listing, just came plain black

because for my uses, non military/policing etc this works like a champ pops right into my team wendy bump and everything clicks together and swivels and pivots as it should.

I have a IIIa Kevlar helmet and am running an ITT PVS-14-17. While I have no experience with the govt. issue or “major brand” I will say this mount is SOLID. There was very slight movement on the “delta” on the J-Arm and I simply tightened it down w an Allen. There is NO play whatsoever. The mount is highly adjustable. It came with no instructions or booklet at all but it was easy enough to discern how it all works. Again, I’m very pleased with this mount and would highly recommend.

I have 63.7 IPD. (I own a VR headset) This thing BARELY meets that, that's resting on my nose. If you have higher IPD than average, I'd be reserved to buy this. Otherwise, like others have said, this is solid. I use it for a Tanto monocular. It has 3 axis of motion, up/down, forward/back, tilt up/tilt down. However, just because you might have high IPD, you might get away using a panobridge arm. You can find one on ebay that's a noisefighters clone for $40 which is quality. Also note, there is no retention loops to hook your bungies too, also, it's not a break away design. Finally, with your NODS up, it's not close to your head like some of the other more expensive mounts have, you'll still feel the weight up front.Overall, it's a good option for the price. It's sturdy, lightweight, and does what it's designed to do well enough. However, it's not a substitute for some of the more Gucci options.

I’m disappointed that it’s entirely plain black with no labeling. Product pic and other customer’s pic shows white manufacture label. Otherwise it’s about perfect with minimal wobble and excellent adjustability.
