Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature Rectangular Roaster, 7 qt. (12.8" x 18.7"), Cerise

I love LeCreuset for even heating. This is a hand roaster for baking.

I use it when we have 6 or mid for the meal. Worked great baking & presenting a Spiral Ham. I also used it for a double lasagna. Even heating & nice on the table. Cleans up easily

My roaster arrived yesterday and I love it. This is not a dislike but the description in Amazon ad says the size is 12.8” x 18.7” well that’s the box packaging. This could be a little confusing because in the detail description it gives the actual size from handle to handle as 17.5 x 11.25 x 3.25 inches. Plus, I purchased it at the best price ever.

I have been putting off purchasing this roaster forever, and every holiday, I wish I hadn't. I don't know what I was waiting for. This roaster is perfect and deep.

As other reviewers have noted, this is not a turkey pan roaster. This is the perfect size for a family lasagna, deep dish casserole, whole chicken, or several small game hens (or for veg dishes, a load of seasonal root veggies, etc). There is an exposed rim of cast iron (and I'm not sure why ?) but it does not effect cleaning at all (easy hand wash because of the non-stick nature of ceramic, hand dry). If you're concerned about the cast iron not drying completely, just pop the clean, empty dish in a warm oven for an hour or so (less than 300° F) as you would any fully cast iron dish.

Both pans ordered arrived broken, otherwise would have been a good pan.

I love the color of this roasting pan, and it works perfectly. So satisfied with this purchase. Le Creuset is fantastic and this pan represents that.
