Pacifica Beauty Water Micellar Cleansing Tonic for All Skin Types, Coconut, 8 Fl Oz

I purchased this product a few days ago and I was SO excited for it to be delivered today. When I got home from work, I immediately tried it and I am so so happy. I have always had good luck with my skin, which has made me lazy with my skincare routine- in that I have none. I’ve always had small blackheads around my nose and on my chin, but nothing that anyone could see but myself. The last few months my skin has been breaking out more and now that I’m in my mid-20’s I thought it was high time for me to cleanse my skin regularly and care for it better. I purchased this after reading reviews that Micellar water is gentle and doesn’t have to be rinsed off (yay low maintenance!) and selected this brand for its cruelty free and vegan practices. I wasn’t sure how I would like the coconut scent but it is very light and smells lovely. I purchased reusable cotton rounds for everyday use, but they don’t come until tomorrow so today I used cotton balls. Frankly I loved it. I have never loved a skincare product before. The product does feel similar to water, but once you rub it gently into your skin it gets a very slight lather which makes it feel productive. The cotton balls were much dirtier than I anticipated since I don’t wear makeup. Going on, it feels like water, but after a few minutes my skin got slightly warm. Normally this means my skin gets super flushed but it went away quickly and didn’t make my skin red or feel stripped like it does with other products. I have dry skin that is always irritated by other products. After 1 use, my skin looked smoother and less red in some previously irritated areas. After eating dinner (3-4 hours after first use) I used the product again and it still hasn’t dried my skin out. My skin feels smoother, and is left with a pleasant scent that is light enough to not give me a headache. I am excited to see how this helps my recent break outs, and I’m already super excited that my makeup-free face will have a more even tone and look better than ever!

I do like this. It is light and smooth. It feels, smells and looks very fresh and clean, like there are not many "additives". It is clear and leaves skin feeling fresh. Nice for mornings and evenings alike. I like to use it after gardening in the summer as well!

First off, I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin. I don’t usually have to use skin care products made for sensitive skin and I’m not particular about any brands. I was just looking for a new micellar water to use as a make up remover and decided to give this one a try since it had pretty good reviews on a lot of different websites. Good for all types of skin, natural ingredients, vegan, free of harsh chemicals, etc. Can’t go wrong, right? Unfortunately the moment I opened the seal, I realized I didn’t care too much for the smell. Sure, I can get over the smell. Soon as this product touched my skin, however, it BURNT. I put the micellar water on a cotton pad and used it to remove my eye makeup and literally the moment it touched my skin around my eye it stung so bad I could feel my skin getting red. I powered through the pain to see if it was at least effective in removing makeup, and it didn’t completely remove my eyeliner after gentle rubbing and did nothing to my mascara (they were waterproof kinds but my previous brand of micellar water easily removed them) Also, I know these products are made for external use only but when you remove your makeup sometimes a little bit of product gets in your eye. When this one did, it hurt my eye so bad I couldn’t even open my eyes until my tears cleared it up. Then I thought maybe it’s because I used it on sensitive part of my face. Now my eyes are red but I thought ok I just won’t use it around my eyes, and maybe use it to wipe off my foundation or something (you can tell I really wanted to give it a chance). One stroke on my cheek with this product-soaked cotton pad and it felt like my face was on fire. I guess it worked for a lot of people but it clearly wasn’t for everyone. Not only it didn’t agree with my skin, it also did a very poor job at removing makeup. I don’t think I will ever be using Pacifica’s cleansing products again.

This Pacifica Micellar Cleansing Tonic has a very pleasant smell, cleans well and is very gently on my skin. I used Burts Bee's Micellar Water before and it gave me red blotches on my face even though I usually don't have sensitive skin. I also love that Pacifica Products are cruelty free and I am very happy with this one. It is not cheap but for me it is good quality and value for my money. I will certainly buy this again.

When I first bought this product, I fell in love with it. Not only did it feel like it was cleaning my face, but it smelled amazing. My first concern was how sticky the product is. If I spilled it even a little bit, the cleanser would go all over my hands, sink, and the bottle itself and made everything sticky. After a few weeks of use, the product started stinging my face. The stinging was very subtle at first and I didn't think too much of it, but eventually the stinging got so bad that my skin turned red and would continue to sting even hours after I washed it off. Please be careful with this product and make sure all the ingredients suit your skin type because it clearly didn't fit mine

I love love love this for a makeup remover and have used it religiously since I bought my first sample! I have even accidentally got this in my eyes and it doesn’t burn at all, it’s all natural it’s not overly scented or greasy it’s awesome at removing makeup especially eye makeup!! I would recommend to anyone who has sensitive skin and anyone who prefers to use natural products! The price is worth it, this bottle will last me forever, a little does a long way!

This is the best astringent to use after you cleanse with soap. It gives you a clean fresh feel on your face and is non drying. I have dry skin and if I just need to freshen my skin or if I don't have time to use soap, this works. It has a light, fresh, coconut scent and is just right for me. I received a sample of this and fell in love with it and had to buy a full size. Worth the money! It just takes a dab on a cotton ball to completely do your whole face.

This is a great cleanser. Removes dirt and makeup, yet gentle on skin. Pleasant coconut scent. I really like this company’s products and philosophy.
