Supports HP ENVY 8 note 5010
It works with my envy 8 note. My pen tip broke. Did a Google search "hp note 8 - active pen tip broken" a person suggest this model might work. The pens physically looks the same. At least I can savaged the new pen for spare parts. To my surprise it works. Do your research, hp does have a link showing what devices it will support. The fact the seller provides the model numbers are more than helpful. Got mine from ComegaCity. Order on Wednesday arrived on Saturday. On a side note, tried posting the link but the review wouldn't go through.

I don't recommend buying, it doesn't work with just any HP ...
Does not work with my HP Spectre x360. Buying this pen is a gamble, since it doesn't have a list of compatible models. I'm going to try and return these two products to buy one that explicitly says to work with the Spectre x360. I don't recommend buying, it doesn't work with just any HP device as you'd assume.

Make sure this is the right pen for your laptop
This pen functions extremely well and works with my HP elitebook. Note that this pen is generally made for the enterprise versions of hp's laptops.

this thing is horrible. i tried using it for my HP G2 tablet and it is always giving me issues.
