Modvera Eco-Friendly LED Light Bulb Medium Based A19 3 Watt E26 Base 15,000 Hour Lifespan Clear Glass Lights Up Transparent Blue Carded Incandescence Dimmable

I have a craftsman style porch light with clear glass and I prefer blue light bulbs. My previous first generation LED blue bulb was blue plastic on top with white plastic on the bottom, which looked awful in the daytime and not much better at night. This Modvera Blue LED bulb looks like a regular clear glass light bulb in the daytime and also when it is lit at night. The blue glowing "filament" looks absolutely beautiful and the blue is much richer than the older first generation bulb that it replaced. It was exactly what I had been looking for (or, to be more precise, what I had been waiting for someone to invent since LED lighting is still a developing industry). The pure blue filament accents the textured glass (plastic, actually) of my fixture and it also looks stunning compared to the simulated frosted bulb it replaced. I was so satisfied with the rich blue that I then bought a red version for a pendant lamp in my media library to replace it's first generation LED red bulb and it also was just what I'd hoped for. It is redder and is not as bright as the old bulb and matches perfectly the hue and intensity of the red LED strip lighting that lights the countertop and shelves. The old bulb was too bright and overwhelmed the strip lighting - now the room looks perfect. The photo doesn't do the red bulb justice since the pendant light is overexposed due to the camera's limitations.I couldn't be more satisfied with both bulbs.

Bright and strong. Definitely a good products. We have bought cases of these lights. Well designed. Functional. Bright and of excellent quality. We use these light at a beach house in the Caribbean and exposed to heat, humidity, rain and extreme conditions. Fine and reliable product. villa Gallega Vieques.

Really great light until the glass surounding the filament dropped off. Had two carriage lights and had used the bulbs for three weeks about 4 hour usage per night. When I went to remove the bulbs one glass globe was missing and the other came off in my hand. I had ordered 2 others in a different color and probably should have sent them back also (unused)....Amazon refunded my money for the two broken ones.

Great way to honor our law enforcement. I put the blue lights on the outside of my house and it is truly a statement

My little electric monitor says this is drawing 6 watts, not 3. Not a huge deal, though it is literally twice the consumption. Especially on a light running 24/7/365.Update: Died Jan 27th, almost 90 days on the nose. Junk.

So far this LED bulb has been exactly what I hoped for. Really bright cool looking blue LED lights inside a clear glass bulb. They are on my front porch (blue and green, Go Hawks!) and have been on nightly for a couple weeks without issues. I think the people that said theirs only lasted a week just got a bad bulb that the company would probably replace free of charge. They emailed me a couple times following up on my order so they seem to care about customer satisfaction.

It is just what I was looking for, very bright!

The blue is wicked. The bulb isn't too bright. It's more of a compliment.
