A GREAT Backpack for your Oversized Laptop.
First and foremost, the reason I purchased this backpack was to have a SAFE way to carry my Asus G703 Desktop Replacement laptop around. I preferred comfort, but my highest priority was safety of my expensive oversized laptop. (My Laptop, while closed, is 17" by 12.75" by 2" Thick while closed. Yes, it is HUGE!)The backpack has a BIG sleeve for a laptop, and the sleeve comes with padding AND protective bumper-like material for the front, back, and bottom of the sleeve. This protects the laptop from being damaged while setting the bag down. VERY well built for this purpose. My number one priority = FULFILLED. There is even enough room in the slot for me to go ahead and put the laptop into a sleeve to further protect it, which should get here today. It should fit, and if it does not - I will come edit this review!Looks ->The backpack is very durable LOOKING. The material choice give you a feeling of "That looks pretty rugged!" when taken at first glance. A Closer inspection reveals good workmanship as well as a pleasant design of durable materials. I found no cosmetic flaws on mine when delivered. I have used it for over a week now, and I have used it heavily. I am constantly picking it up and putting it down in class, in my truck, in my house, etc etc. The looks are unaffected - it does not get dirty/dingy looking very easily. My favorite looks for this bag : The handle on the top is an strong metal-backed handle that has a nice pattern built around it. I also LOVE the look of the inside parts of the laptop sleeve with the BEAUTIFULLY done looks and coloring of the padding. Finally, the bag looks MUCH MORE SIMPLE than a lot of bags, but this DOES NOT take away from its functionality.Functionality->The straps are comfy and adjustable, and they stay in their fixed adjustment during use. This is more than I can say for some more expensive bags...The bag is strong, this is a functionality because if you are using it in environments where the bag might face some tougher conditions or abrasive surfaces - it should hold up nicely. The insides of the bag come with MANY pockets and sleeves to put your various pencils, computer mice, power brick, phone, etc. There are THREE main compartments:The front-most is the smallest, but is larger than the average front compartment of a laptop. It comes with a built in sleeve that is about 5" by 6". The sleeve front has pockets for pens/pencils and a calculator. This compartment also comes with a built-in detachable key chain. Again, this front compartment is actually VERY LARGE. The opening to the compartment is only about 3-4" lower than the other main compartments. The middle-most compartment is separate from the laptop sleeve compartment. It is MASSIVE. It is about 5" deep, and as wide as and tall as the backpack. It is the largest volume compartment. It comes with a smaller top sewn-in sleeve that can hold a phone or calculator (About 4-5" wide by 4-5" deep) and two smaller sleeves mounted to that that can hold ~1.75" and 2.5" wide by about 3" long objects. This main compartment is HUGE (Yes, I had to say it again.) If necessary, I could probably fit another 2+ huge laptops in this compartment too (no sleeve or extra padding, thought)The Laptop compartment is against the back of the laptop, and is its own seperate compartment. It contains the laptop sleeve with padding. The laptop sleeve has two mesh sleeves on it that can hold peripherals and whatnot. The are half the width of the laptop sleeve and about 2/3 the length. The laptop sleeve is ~15" or so deep, so for those bigger laptops, some of it will be out of the sleeve. The sleeve comes with a velcro elastic band to hold the laptop in place. The compartment is only about 3" deep, so you can still fit a book in between the laptop compartment and the middle compartment. If the bag is fully packed, though, don't expect to cram stuff in there. It still is pretty spacious. Each compartment has its own zipper. The zippers do NOT go down to the bottom of the bag like some of the newer 'TSA Friendly' bags that allow you to just split the thing open to allow it to be searched. This one is the opposite - the zippers end, and the bag only splits a lit more about halfway down the length of the compartments (The front compartment has the largest % zipper opening. It is about 2/3 of the way down. The whole backpack has padding built into it in the skin of the bag, and not just in the laptop and back padding portions. The laptop compartment areas are extra thick, too.Comfort-->This bag is pretty comfy! It has that extra support belly strap thing, but it does not support larger frame or weight people. The belly strap has padded sections with zipper packets on the side on EACH side, left and right. The padding between the laptop and you is pretty thick. At least an inch. The foam for your back is extra soft and is breathable. This foam is backed with the sturdy foam against the laptop AND THEN the extra foam pad protectors for the sleeve.I find it VERY comfortable and it feels sturdy on my back.Overall:GREAT BACKPACK FOR YOUR EXPENSIVE DESKTOP REPLACEMENT (HUUUUGE) LAPTOP!!!!!!!!Worth EVERY Penny. If it wears out, I will buy another.

This thing is amazing. It is very durable, details below.
I have owned this backpack for 4 years. I use it to carry a very large ASUS desktop replacement laptop, a G703.The laptop weighs about 20 lbs and has 2 power bricks because it too is a beast.I was using the backpack to carry it to work everyday. I wasn't just taking it to work it was constantly in and out of vehicles although I tried to set it up once a day when possible. This backpack was one of the only ones that fits such aarge laptop but it barely fits. It has build in egg carton style cushioning. My use case was so rough that I determined no backpack was adequate and I ended up buying a plastic hard case for the laptop. But this backpack is a tank.I regularly carried 20-30 lbs on it with no problems. The top handle has a metal wire encased in plastic and it ends in what looks like a river into reinforced cloth. It holds up.I have traveled with this thing and used it daily for four years. The only problems were one of the plastic clips that secured it around your chest or stomach broke. That's after four years of hard abuse. One of the smaller zippers on the smallest pouch occassionally comes open. The zipper has two zipper tabs, and if I use the other zipper to close it, the problem goes away. That's it. Nothing else frayed, broke, or came apart. I absolutley love this thing.Pros:Built like a tankWill hold a desktop replacement laptop that has a 17.3 inch screen and is thick. The laptop is thick with extensive cooling and a 1080 GPU.Lots of smaller interior pockets to organize your stuff.Water bottle holders on each side (total of 2).Cons:It's expensive but it is totally worth it for valueIf you put a laptop that is the biggest this backpack can hold (like I did) there's no protection for the laptop on the bottom or top (i.e. there's no padding on the bottom of that makes sense). But I don't know of any backpack that has that. With a smaller laptop youncoild put your own foam or cushioning material in there.I took a chance as I hadn't heard of the manufacturer before. Great but and would buy again. I was simply too rough to use it for that laptop for a long period. Inised it for about a year, but not was falling from a car seat to the floor. I was putting it into a trunk a minimum of 4 times a day most days of the week, and I was being a little too rough. Basically no backpack could handle the abuse but that's not a criticism of this bag. This thing holds up and is roomy. Ive never used it for camping or hiking but have used it for a lot of travel. One of my best Amazon purchases of all time.Edit: April 1st 2024. It says I have the 21 inch high version which I think is the 18.4 inch version. Will submit pictures. Minor piling of cloth, superficial price of plastic top strap broke, smallest zipper occasionally need to be zipped with both zippers. After 5-6 years of HARD abuse. Not going back to fix spelling: ok, I think it should have said rivet.March 2025 and the only problem is a zipper that doesn't correctly close. I consider this bad because stuff can fall out. It is the smallest of the zipper sections. The pocket furthest from your back. It does close, I just make sure not to keep anything valuable in there.Did I mention this thing takes hard abuse? All things considered still going very strong.

Fabulous!!
I bought this, because I recently bought a new laptop that has a 17.3" screen and was having an issue finding a good laptop backpack. This one came & it's been awesome!! It fits my laptop beautifully with room to spare (but not too much), it has cushion in the laptop pouch area for extra protection, and LOTS OF ROOM & POCKETS! The handle is sturdy the material is great, and it's comfortable to wear. Plus, it comes with a couple security pockets & a rain cover for the backpack, that's in a pocket on the underside of the backpack (haven't had a chance to use it yet, though I did pull it out & it does fit perfectly & didn't hinder my movements at all).Overall, love it & would recommend!!

Fits an MSI GT-80 Titan, and everything else i put in it.
Needed a bag to fit my large MSI GT-80 Titan laptop thats a real monster, and this bag handles it. Build quality seems good too, price isnt all that bad either compared to other large gaming laptop bags. I like the external USB charger as well, not sure how much ill use it as i only need the bag for when i road trip to visit family, but its nice to have. Inside is very very roomy! The super large power brick usually takes up alot of room and makes it difficult to add much more with other bags, but not this one. I have some really large gaming headphones that just wont fit very well in every other bag I've had, but fit perfectly in this bag.The one downside, is it is extremely large.... But again for me thats fine, I throw it in the back seat of the truck anyway, so its not like I am trying to fly with it, but if you are, might be too big.
