I had a few lighters I had gotten from my grandfather. They were old but functional. A little TLC with these replacements elements and the old lighters worked better than the new lighter. I replaced the wick, the cotton packing and the bottom cover. I filled them with fluid. I lit them every day for week to see how long the fluid lasted and maintained a strong flame. It took over 5 days for the fluid to evaporate. I barely would get a couple days with the old wicks and packing.

Everything was exactly as expected. Packaged very nicely. Fast delivery. Worked as expected. Very nice kit.

Package came on time, everything works fine except the screw on the end of the springy thing that holds the flint was way to big, it would not screw in, and that was the main thing i needed because i didn't know that it ran out of flint so from trying to light it with no flint it ate the thing on the end of the spring piece.
