I love this flashlight. It is not inexpensive, but it is an excellent value for my use case. It has an incredibly bright front light, which I use on dark streets, corridors, etc. My most common use is the side light, which is perfect for reading small-fonted menus in dimly-lit restaurants. In every way, it is superior to my iPhone flashlight, which causes my entire family to groan when I use it to read a menu, possibly because it has become a cliched symbol of middle-age ocular deterioration, or because the iPhone’s dimmest setting is brighter than the dimmest setting on the RovyVon. I also use the red, quick-flashing light when I’m walking on a road at night. It’s miniscule and easily fits in even a small pocket so you’ll actually take it out and use it. It has a 2-way clip so you can clip it onto a brimmed hat.This little light is one of my top 25 all-time possessions, because of its perfect design, build-quality and practicality. It’s the quintessence of an EDC flashlight. Just get one and you’ll understand.

I have used the RovyVon Aurora A5-G4for six weeks now. It is tiny but very powerful and weighs just 22g/.8oz. The front light is a spot that is shaped just right. On low power setting it is supposed to last about seven hours and has a throw of approximately 22’. I find this setting extremely useful, enough light to see well but not blinding. The side LEDs work as a flood light an do have a nice ambiance. With the included clip I can attach the light to the brim of my hat and use as a headlamp which makes this a superb lighting tool for hiking. The two higher settings really light up the world ahead with good throw to reach out there.It’s small and lightweight enough that I don’t know it’s with me but performs so well for my needs that if I lost it I’d quickly replace it with the same model.

While the button clicks can take a little to get used to, this is a great EDC flashlight. So much usefulness in a small package! I have used this almost daily since getting it.First, the magnetic tail and clip are very strong and so useful. You can snap onto something metal in many orientations for hand free use.Second, the side lights are amazing. UV, red flashing, and white light all get used. I am not sure I'll carry another kind of light again.Third, it is super bright for such a small light. It's about the size of a battery and can really throw some light.I was sitting around the fire with some neighbors and showed it off. They were both intrigued and immediately ordered one for each of themselves. And now they rave about them too.
