This anthology is great and I play it at least twice a month!It takes me back to my earliest partying days in the late 70'sand early 80's when house parties, teen nights at local discos, and of course,"roller-discos" were the only places where I could get in (legitimately that is!).By ages 15 and 16, 1979 and 1980, I had become very adept at the art of the fake IDand I had older freinds who were connected who would get my into the more adult discos!Donna Summer was the undisputed QUEEN OF DISCO!!---Bar none!!Sylvester was our GODDESS and GRAND DIVA!!---But Ms. Summer was on another level!Of course there were many ladies in waiting....Gloria Gaynor, Thelma Houston,Bonnie Pointer, Anita Ward, Evelyn "Champagne" King, the late Vicki Sue Robinson,Alicia Bridges, Andrea True, Cheryl Lynn and many more who made valid contributionsto the music and era that was disco....but again, Donna Summer was on another level!They're all on there..."Love To Love You Baby", "Spring Affair", "I Feel Love","MacArthur Park", "Bad Girls", "Hot Stuff", "Heaven Knows", "Dim All The Lights","Sunset People", "Last Dance", "No More Tears (with Barbara Streisand)", "On The Radio"and on and on and on!! Great selection Great Sound greatest singer
Great selection there's like 40 songs on here sound is nice and clean treble mid-range and bases on the money Donna sounds totally fantastic got this used in very good condition for an excellent discounted price very happy with this two CD set. I really wish Amazon would have many more of Donna Summer Concerts than just live and more Encore 1999 I'm sure they would be big sellers Donna is number one

No one like Donna Summer
This was a gift for my ballroom dancing husband. We love disco and hustle and there is no one like Donna Summer. I can't give you specifics on this vs. original recordings and or complications except to say that based on that which I read from others this was one of the best.

although not a fan from years before, I have grown to appreciate the varied sounds and musicality of her singing. If you like or love her music, you will enjoy this highly recommended album. I am glad to have it and will enjoy for years to come.

Forever Donna............
This is the second tiem I have purchased this. The best collection of her music I have ever heard. Madonna should have listened to Donna's version of ' Don't Cry for Me Argentina ' to understand the soul that song deserves. She is missed very much, so young to be taken from us.
