These are an excellent upgrade to the cameras that come with the systems. Smaller, very pose-able, very good quality. These are excellent upgrades and I like that they blend into the background more at this size. Harder to see/find. They're a great choice to add to your system.

DIDN'T right out of the box! Typical from Amazon lately! CONSTANTLY SENDING OUT DEFECTIVES! This is BS from AMAZON!!! Seems they get returns and send thier defective stuff RIGHT BACK OUT! Package looked as if previously opened. Amazon has sent me so many defective items, all different categories of stuff. I have had to return at least 4 ITEMS lately. The only good thing is it's FREE! And at least they replace or refund. Stuff from CHINA lately has been CRAP! No wonder Amazon Returns are PLENTIFUL!

60 days later review: I'm actually VERY impressed with this camera. It has excellent low lux capability, the picture is outstanding for what it is and for the price. I'm planing to buy 2 more.

If your DVR is compatible with AHD cameras and can record/play true 1080P 1960x1080 resolution ("1080 LITE" DVRs will play but not export 1960x1080), this is the non-IR camera to get. The low lux nighttime image is very good with some ambient light.

This is not a very good starlight camera if it even is one at all it’s either really dark and grainy or if you try to boost the Proc Amp controls on your DVR it’s still DARK AND GRAINY. See photos. The actual camera has no adjustments. The one good thing about this camera is the ability to change lenses really easily. I put a much wider lens on it

First of all it died in a month . The low light / Star light ability of this camera was really not that great . I have other cameras on the system that are not as low lux as these cameras are supposed to be and the provide a clearer picture with better color definition in low light . These cameras are not very expensive and you get what you pay for .

If you can change the board lens so it sees further I think you will like it better. Not a good picture far away with the included 3.6 lens. It stays color at night which has advantages if you have a street light. Other wise it is not that good at night although the next best thing this size I found is a kt&c product with fewer tv lines and 4 times the price and is black and white at night. UPDATE: may20 2019. Every mini cndst unit thats says for inside or outside which I put outside gets moisture inside it and you can not see. Now one has died totally. The units inside all continue to impress when aimed out a window but they can not see ir light from any other ir camera I aim them at. I put two outside and both got moisture inside them and one died. The cap was on tight.
