Great sports watch
Bought it as an upgrade to Garmin 55. Works well and starts up much more quickly than the 55 (which was an excellent watch as well). It is my all the time watch as the smart aspects (messages and alerts) are useful.Just a bit tricky to set up all the watch screens to be personal - lots of button pushing!

Perfect Garmin if you like chunky
Absolutely love this watch, I had the forerunner 235 and wanted something similar. The 255 is perfect, chunky with a large face and exactly what I wanted. I have been looking for ages to replace my old my old Garmin. Really pleased x

Impressed so far
Bought this as an upgrade to my Fitbit Charge 6 which had been a great starter watch but I wanted better data. Really impressed that you don’t need to pay to use the features on the Garmin app. Seems to meet all of my needs but offers other sports in the future. Great value too. Just need to spend some more time working out all of the features now I’ve mastered how to navigate the basics. ok like the Garmin Coaching Plans too. Battery life looks brilliant and is holding up well. Really pleased with my purchase.

Great watch for the price with impressive features
My 4 yo garmin 245 was getting on and required daily charging.I did a lot of research on mid level running watches and this one, for the price you pay, in my view is the best out there with a considerable number of health and performance related features.The latest forerunner model 265 is a lot more expensive, and who really wants or needs a touch screen anyway?
