HunterWomen's Wfs1018rma-blk Chelsea Boot

I wanted to like these boots. I assumed I'd love these boots being Hunter and so expensive! They have to be good right!?!? Wrong! I have to confess I did not look at the construction of these boots too much before I purchased online assuming the Hunter brand would have taken the care to construct boot with comfort in mind. I've worn them a handful of times and its been excruciating. I did read some of these reviews saying they suited slim ankles so presumed I would be OK with my slim ankles. There is NO lining at all to these boots. The raw slits of rubber where they have put in the side elastics rub on your ankle bone causing immense pain and bruising. Looking at the design now it's obvious these were never going to be comfortable. As another reviewer has stated what a waste of £120! More disappointing is Hunters disregard to the fact there is clearly a design fault here. The response was concluded with 'poor fit'. Second hand sites are littered with "only worn a few times" Commando boots and bad reviews and Im sorry to say thats where mine will be ending. Looking around there are many great brands out there with carefully constructed commando boots for half the price. Disappointed and will never buy Hunter again!

My wife loves these boots and they fit perfect. She is normally a size 8 and that is what I ordered. The boots are authentic, Hunter boots that are made very well and from what she tells me they are comfortable. The boots themselves are heavy.Initially they were a bit difficult to get on and off, but the more you wear them the more they break in and getting them on and off is no problem. You have to wear a tall sock otherwise the boot rubs against your leg and can hurt.She has had these for about a year and let me tell you, they are durable and water resistant. The boots still look brand new!Reasonably priced and high quality, she will never need another pair of rain boots for as long as she lives!Buy them, you won’t regret it!

I love them! I am a size 8 and they fit perfect. They are tight around the ankle but I feel if they weren’t it wouldn’t look right.
