Makes great Ice cubes and chocolate skulls!
Love these skulls! I just haven't been able to figure out how to keep one chamber from leaking into the next when filling the top with the funnel.

Makes great skill cubes!
Makes cool skull shaped cubes! Only fault I have found is that the top wants to float off around the edges when you fill it with water. I installed some clips on it and it works much better! Definitely would recommend!!!

Okay product
With any ice mold, clear ice is the product of directional freezing or freezing ice in an insulated environment for 24+ hrs. That being said the ice comes out as described, but the filling is difficult. Use the little funnel provided with a pouring tool.

Very hard to fill with liquid even with funnels they supplied.
I have had an awful time filling these trays. I ended up using my own funnel as it allowed me to fill them quicker. They only can be filled so far as there are holes that allow the liquid to pool out. I thought perhaps it was so you could not over fill them, but this is not the case. After they have been filled and frozen, I had to top off each skull and refreeze again otherwise the skulls would not be shaped right. I used a butter knife to crack away the overflow before I unmolded them. Getting the skull ice cubes out is not too hard, you just turn them inside out. I tried first with just clear water, and it was hard to tell they were skulls; next I tried cranberry juice to make them look red which helped a bit to make them show up more like skulls. On my 3rd try I discovered that you need to push down on each mold so it kind of seals to the bottom half before you start filling them. This helps it not go out the 2 center holes. I managed to get them filled better this time, but the tray is not solid and flops a bit and by the time I got them into the freezer I was back to tops with no liquid. The hole you fill is the back of the skull so this time I will not top it off and see how they look with the back not filled all the way. There is definitely a learning curve to this. Thankfully I am going to use them in a punch bowl and not in individual drinks, so I won't need too many as the night goes on. I am hoping they will look good in a green punch with dry ice.
