Family classic
Forbidden Bridge is an AMAZING game. My family loves it. We have the original but the remake actually has better functionality. I highly recommend. The only thing is that there is a rule that a player MUST be moving towards a jewel. We don’t play by that rule which allows for stealing, which can be a whole other strategy. Great times!

Children like it, and it is easy to play.
This is currently my Five year old granddaughter's favorite game. It has enough physical characteristics to keep her occupied, and the rules are easily remembered.

Great fun
Exciting and fun. Gameplay doesn’t last an excessive amount of time, so you’re not stuck with it all day.

Fun game, corners cut to keep cost down
Loved this game when I was a kid and wanted to share that with my eight year old. The game plays exactly the same only the quality isn't quite the same. My main gripes are 1) there's a ton of slack in the bridge as if it's missing a few planks (there are 13 plank pieces included, seems there should be at least 14), 2) the cardboard base is quite thin and was already showing dents and scraped out of the box just from the factory packaging process, and 3) the plastic suspension bridge will not secure to the plastic posts on either side of the bridge, it will pop off and drop all the player pieces when trying to manipulate the pieces while they're on the bridge. You can see from my picture comparison that the actual height of the bridge posts compared to the marketing pictures is misleading as the actual height is way shorter/stubbier. Our solution has been to slip rubber o-rings)gaskets over the ends to better secure the rope pieces. Also, unless your playing on the floor, or over a contained play mat, these little plastic gems are going to scatter everywhere (the original board game sat in a tray to contain falling pieces). Lastly, and this has more to do with the rules, I think you'll find yourself modifying them anyway to better enjoy the game. For instance, if a player needs two gems to win, and makes their way to their boat, there is really no incentive for the two or three other players to keep playing, since there's nothing anyone can do to stop that winning breakaway, the game is pretty much over, and for the poor kids left playing the pomp of that first river escape is nothing more than a victory lap.

Sent sealed and in perfect condition
The game came brand new, sealed, and complete. I had previously bought the game from another reseller and it arrived damaged. That game was sent back. Two Day Delight sent the game Forbidden Bridge in pristine condition for my nephew who loves the same game we got probably 30 years ago. He’ll love this. Thank you! 5 stars!

Fun game and not to hard for kids
My 5 year old thought this game was cool and he can enjoy it as long as older kids are playing as well.

Kids will love it
Better than the original cause the bridge actually shakes aggressively.
