Q: Would this style stay on in high wind conditions? Looking to protect my hair when I drive my Jeep with the top down.

It seems that would be less about the style and more about how much of the cap is in contact with your head and how tight it is on there. If you just sit it on top or you have a lot of loose hair that shifts and it doesn't have enough friction to stay on then it won't. Short of strapping it down by adding a cord to go under your chin, that's all hats. That being said, without a visor or something else ridged to catch the wind, this type of hat should be fine in windy conditions.

Q: Does this hat have a seam in the back, or is it knitted in the round?

Yes it does have a seam in the back, but it is not visible. I had to look at my hat to find it. I must just wear it because I have never thought about this seam because I couldn’t see it. Peace ✌️ Paula

Q: What is the circumstance of the X large beanie?

If you have very long dreads like past your butt they would not fit not even close. If they are anywhere from small dreads to a little past your shoulders it will work. They are super comfy my husband and I use them.
