Great Long Lasting Solar Light With Smaller Footprint
The media could not be loaded. I have several generations of solar lights so I wanted to compare them. These lights are much smaller case wise then prior generations, I was worried they would not have the capacity to stay on all night. I placed one next to two different models I am currently using (see pics), the one on the far left is 2 years old, the one in the middle is 1 year old (and a different model), and finally the new light style is on the right. I turned them all on and closed a bathroom with the lights off. They were all on low power which is the setting I use outside. I let all three charge in the sun turned off for 2 days on bright Florida days prior to the test. I expected the new lights to not last as long but they lasted the longest! They lasted so long that I ended the test after 26 hours had passed because my camera ran out of storage and they were the only one still on! The construction is smaller but there is less plastic bulk because the solar panels seem almost the same size. This is also a 35 LED light so they are much better then a round 8 LED light which I originally had 5 years ago. With a more compact size, from afar these look less like cheaper solar lights and more like the more expensive hard wired lights which is what my neighbors all have. The seller is also top notch for customer service if needed because I have dealt with them before and they are very responsive. I recommend these lights highly, 5 stars.

Let There Be Light!
In this time of soaring gas prices and thermal melt downs across the United States and Europe, it is satisfying to do my small share of conserving electricity and fuel by using solar power. My pack of four lights illuminate my back yard bushes for several hours once the sun sets and the darkness triggers the lights to go on. The lights have three power levels and I am leaving them on the least bright option as I assume they stay on longer this way. It's all very self-sustaining and easy. The lights, like a pet rock, pretty much take care of themselves rain and shine. Well, shine at least. They were a breeze to install, just pop the light on top of the stake, plant the stake in the desired location, choose the brightness you prefer, and adjust the angle. It's one small and individualistic green action that hopefully, cumulatively, will make a difference to this environmentally stressed out planet.

Most Excellent Lights!
These lights work better than I could have imagined. Years ago we had our front steps redone. The contractor was supposed to install lights in the steps. That never happened. So for years I have had steps that are dark and dangerous at night. I tried a few other solar lights just to not work. Finally, after waiting years, I decided to try again. I found these lights on Amazon. I ordered them and they arrived quickly. I chose to install them with the stakes that come with the set rather than the option of mounting them. I let them charge for a couple of days as suggested before I tried them. The day came to finally give them a try. I chose the lowest level of light to try. There are three levels to choose from. I have to say, the lowest level was plenty bright to illuminate the stairs. There are also 3 positions you can adjust the angle of the light to as well. I finally had lights that lit my stairway up how I wanted it to be when we first had them built. The lights turn on just as the sun sets and stay on until sunrise. None of the other lights I tried came anywhere close to doing that. I am thrilled with this set. I am super happy to have found a set of 4 that will make my front porch a lot safer as I and my family get older.

Great, sturdy lights, best option at this price point
These lights are great. I've tried a bunch of the ones available on Amazon in my garden, and these are the best. I have an old model that's still like-new in the second year, and these seem to be of the same build and quality. The solar panels manage to get a lot of charge even if they're in some shade for part of the day, and they're always still on long after we're in bed. They create some really dramatic effects in my garden. Two small downsides to be aware of:1) The solar panel is attached to the back of the light, meaning it's unidirectional--the back of the light has to point towards the sun. This limits the direction your lights can point, as opposed to a solar panel attached with a wire, where the lights can point any direction. (The attached panels are a part of the sturdiness of these lights, however, so it's just a tradeoff.) I haven't found many spots in the yard where I couldn't make these work for what I wanted, but those situations do exist.2) If you want to screw-in mount instead of put them on a stake, you have to disassemble the light somewhat before you screw in the base, because there's just not room for a drill to get at the mounting holes with the rest of the light still attached. Even with a right-angle drill attachment, I wasn't able to do it. It's certainly possible to disassemble them, but it's a little bit fiddly and does represent an extra step in the process. (If you use the stakes, which I mostly do, then this is a non-issue.)Besides these two slight downsides, these light are as good as they get, and I'd recommend them highly.

Bright, Easy to Install, and last a long time on a full day charge
The media could not be loaded. I installed these lights yesterday and was really blown away by how bright they were and also how long they lasted at the highest brightness setting. I checked them at sunset and then again just before sunrise and they were still shining bright. I'm using these to light up some of the dark areas at the side of my yard so I'm using them mostly as "upshooters" but I also installed one on our eaves that gets sun all day and will be used to illuminate the area where we have our grill.Love these will definitely buy them again!
