I would recommend all the Schleich figures to anyone looking to provide excellent play imagining to their children and grandchildren, very young and older. My great-grandson is less than 2 and really enjoys playing with all his animals. I bought large and small figures so the small ones can be the babies. These figures are well made and with excellent detail so they look very realistic. Children learn quickly the names of the animals, the sounds they make, and the environment they live in. I am completely happy with all my animal purchases.

Beautiful reproduction as are all of Schleich animals that I've purchased. I have over 100 & use them to show kids what kinds of animals are out there. They're a great learning tool since the animals look like the real ones only smaller. The attention & care paid to this product is excellant & I've seen just about every reproduction out there since I was a little kid. These are the best I'm aware of. Bought this bear as a gift for a friend's 3 year old. I love how expressive his face is and how the detail goes right down to his footpads. The actual bear I received had some minor paint discoloration on his teeth, but that sometimes happens with Schleich because they are hand painted. He is a little small compared to the bison, moose, and wolf we bought. There is also a standing female bear and a cub, if you like to have a whole family.

I ordered this bear as an incentive to my group when they sell an Alaska Cruise in our office. Whenever they sell one the bear moves to their desk. I have to say everyone loves him. He is just so nicely made and tactile. He makes a nice addition to a desk...until it's time to move to another desk.
