Works great
I have only received this in the last week, but it is working great. I also simultaneously replaced the battery. Initially the battery and charger were not recognizing each other--the battery status was correct, but even though it was plugged in, it said 'not charging'. I'm not sure if this is the issue the others had, but this worked for me. Again, I changed out both the battery and power supply, so not sure if this will work if you only changed out the power supply, but it is worth a try. I got this from the Dell community help site:Power off the system.Disconnect any external peripherals (flash drives, printers, external hard drives) from the computer.Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the battery from it.Press and hold the power button for 20 to 30 seconds to release the residual charge from the laptop.Reconnect the battery and the AC Adapter.Once the system is powered on and booted properly, re-seat the battery. Check if you still get the error or not.Boot the system to BIOS, tapping the F2 key on the Dell logo screen when you power on the system.Press F9 key to load BIOS defaults. Once done, press F10 key to save and exit. System will restart. Check if the error is still there.

continuing problems; will run computer, but not charge battery
When I first plugged in and turned on my computer, the computer (DELL Precision M6300) indicated this was an unknown charger type. I unplugged everything, plugged all and restarted the computer, and the second time the computer came on without any problems . Shut down all again, unplugged, and plugged all again, and restarted, again with no problem. I am not sure what to make of the initial error. The labeling seems to be the same, except on my old power supply, it is labeled CN-OX9366-71615-88C-138D, and the new power supply has the tag number CN-OX9366-71615-85R-1E1C. Maybe a better informed user can tell me if these are not compatible, or there is another issue to be concerned about? The power supply seems to work, but until I am sure, I will give a three-star rating because of the initial startup error. If I see no problems in coming months, I will revise my review.Update 11/2/2013:The failure problems have persisted. I can eventually get it to work, but only after multiple starts and shutdowns. Every time it fails it gives a message indicating that the adaptor voltage type cannot be recognized, and I have to shutdown and start again. I am going to keep this adaptor as a backup, since it will usually eventually work, but will need to purchase another for regular use from a different source.Update 11/10/2013:I have changed my star rating back to three. The reason is that I found that if I start my laptop on battery, and then plug in this power supply, it seem to always work fine. For some reason that I don't know, my laptop will not always recognize this power supply type when I start up with it plugged in. Except for the numbers cited above, it is identical in appearance and all other markings to my old 130W power supply from Dell. Until I understand the startup problem, or some better informed person explains the issue, I'll leave my star rating at three.Update 12/2/2013:Star rating now at two. I had to replace my battery which is quite old. The new battery will not be charged by this charger. My old charger will charge the new battery. There is some sort of issue with this new charger. it will not start the computer, and will not charge my battery, but I can run the computer on this new charger on AC power.

It works just like it should.
I like it because it works just like it should and, I use it to power my laptop while charging the battery.

Dell 130W AC Adapter
Great buy! My husband had been complaining that he could not find the AC adapter to replace his non-functional one anywhere on the net. So, in a pinch we bought a multi product adapter from a Large Chain store, which turned out to be only a 90W. The product wasn't labled clearly as a 90W and we needed a 130W, so it wasted time, effort and money; my husband was again very disappointed. This Chain store adapter was twice the cost of what we found later that day on Amazon. My husband has since learned his lesson, shop Amazon first as they clearly label their products, to avoid buying the wrong item, and Amazon choices are greater in variety than many other stores. We've found that we can save you $ with Amazon, get the product that works and have it delivered right to your front door. We no longer have to wander around our city burning gas looking for a part that is available right at our finger tips on amazon, which is so powerfully important!

This power brick works
The power brick works and it is a DELL original. I bought it because I bought an ancient gaming laptop as I had some old pc games I wanted to show my kids (an guess what windows 10 does not run xp software anymore) well the story is I bought the laptop and they delivered without the power brick/cable. The laptop works as new now.

Perfect!
After doing some research on Amazon for the best charger replacement for my laptop, I decided on this one. It is more expensive than others, but some of those cheaper ones had stated they sparked, caught on fire, or stopped working in only a couple of weeks. I went with this one, and it is perfect. My battery in my laptop had quit charging, I had replaced it but it stopped after 6 months. Why am I telling you this? Because the battery now charges again! I believe I must have had a bad charger all alone. I replaced it because it had a short in it, and would loose power if it wiggled any, and with a dead battery, my laptop would die as well. Needless to say I am very happy with purchase, well worth the money.

Works for my Dell G5-15 (2018) model
Not much to say other than that it works perfectly the same as my oem charger (which is way pricier). No complaints, I’ve had it almost a year, daily use, I keep this one at the office and the oem one at home.
