J K b K Heating Element for Roti/Chapati Maker

It had to be pressed hard to fit in the slot, but that was intended by the manufacturer for tight fitting which is needed. It is more powerful, of 600 Watts, than older burnt out heater element. Now I am going to but another element to replace the upper element of my roti-maker because I want same 600 Watts in upper pan too, which will relieve me of manually turning the roti for even heating on both sides of roti. The only problem now is new heat resistant power wires, in case there is problem in wires in future.ADDED=Later I bought second element for upper pan, it worked well only for two days, then mains current came into body but I kept on using with caution, but after 2 or 3v days half of the second coil in upper pan stopped working and only one half is now working, forcing me to rotate roti manually after some time. I think these elements are deliberately made for 180 volts so that they burn soon at 230 volts. I will now buy a new element for upper pan and permanently use the roti-maker with a 2000 Watts thyristor regulator at slightly reduced power, I had to do the same for angle grinder machine. Dishonest manufacturers deliberately make equipment for 180 volts so that customers should be forced to buy new items after some time.
