If I went to Italy I couldn't get a better espresso I was amazed and shocked ,for this price We had a La pavoni commercial machine years ago in a restaurant we owned In every way ,this little machine performed beyond our expectations It's made in china, I was not expecting this quality but I believe part of this machine,, is Italian made If you are not used to operating an espresso machine it might be tricky at first We have our own burr bean grinder and a purified water system in our home ( very essential for a good espresso) I bought the warranty ,just in case /was very skeptical but I love love love this machine / am very hard to please when it comes to coffeeSo far , have not attempted the frother , have had a cold ,so am waiting The instruction manual is excellent I bought green color and love the look Will review later, the frother and add some pictures

It is very difficult to remove the "funnel" (grounds cup) from its holder. You have to position it just right by hand for it to drop out. If you want to brew again right away you'll have to be careful when removing the old grounds. EDIT: the cup has a sharp point on the protrusion that keeps if from coming out of the holder - just file the tip this point to round it and the cup will come out more easily.The other brand machine similar to this didn't require draining water before brewing or steaming, which is an extra step requiring a extra containerIt works well, just be aware of the above. One feature I like is that the brew dispenses pre-measured amounts of water - the double shot is perfect.Pleasant design and color is appreciated.

I knew going into this purchase, that I was getting this item because it was affordable. I never expected to make cafe quality espresso with it. What I did not expect was that two months after purchasing this, it would simply stop powering on out of nowhere.Do yourself a favor, spend a little more money on a quality machine. I learned the hard way you can't go cheap on espresso makers...

This is a fantastic little espresso machine. Works great but don’tbe too rough!

Makes a great cup of espresso but takes awhile to get it done. The warmup time seems a little long.

The media could not be loaded. WHEN this machine worked, it pulled beautiful espresso shots & steamed milk beautifully. After four months, this machine will no longer pull shots. It literally worked for one drink & stopped working for the next. I have tried everything: I have tried every single troubleshooting scenario in the included mini book, I have contacted Amazon’s customer service (didn’t accept returns), I have contacted Laekerrt’s customer service (they don’t consider you a customer if you buy from Amazon), I tried disassembling the machine (not easy to do, must contain hidden screws, so I didn’t go far for fear of snapping it in half), I even contacted a local repair shop for espresso makers (they told me it would cost just as much as buying a new machine).Here’s my advice to avoid my situation:1) Buy the machine from the Laekerrt website (comes with 1 yr warranty)2) If buying on Amazon, buy the protection plan3) Run the descaling solution & cycle through the machine at least once a week, even if the machine doesn’t indicate it needs this4) Or — don’t buy this machine. Go with a more reliable / expensive brand. The espresso repair lady recommended the Gaggia classic.

I had a tough time getting the machine started because there was a rubber stopper on the water tank that I forgot to remove! But after I removed it, it has been smooth sailing. I bought an espresso machine before this and it was terrible, and compared to this espresso machine not even an espresso machine. The espresso that it makes is strong, a little bit foamy, and it is so easy to make. I couldn’t have asked for better. Now I can stop spending $5 a day on a caramel latte.
