I have four of these in our house one was out of date and chirping so I bought this one from Amazon it came next day pfitted it and problem solved. I will be replacing the others was the become out of date these are essential items in any home.

Already have the electrical fitting, needed to fit new cover. Comes as a complete item, but ordered the correct fitment, looks the same as the original. Value and performance the same as before. Doesn’t come with battery.

I did not realize they need rep;acing every 10 years. I found out when it began to chirp. Easy replacement since only the cap and not the base need replacing. I'm a 68 year old women and all I needed to do was youtube it to find out how. Job done. Easy.

I bought this as a replacement for an EI144fits on old EI144 baseplate easily so that was a good

Replaced an older expired unit without having to do any wiring, just slid on to existing baseplate

Very easy to install and a great quality product

Replacement for earlier model on which date had expired (10 years isn't too bad), slotted straight into the old base and was working in minutes. Slightly more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Well worth it!!
