Lots of bendable joints!
I found some toy pirate ships at a thrift shop fur my grands and bought these to go with them. They are very nice and detailed.

Almost perfect pirates
I found a Fisher Price pirate ship at the goodwill, for my grandsons. Of course it needed pirates. These are a good size and my grandsons love playing pirate ship now. Only complaint is that they won't stand up by themselves

A clear win at the birthday party (1 of 2)
We bought this 8 piece set to go with another complimentary set, so used this same review on the other product. It's staggering to see the number of gifts a 2 year old can get at a family birthday party. This playset was one of about 10 other gifts and was likely one of the least expensive. Nevertheless, it grabbed the most attention and sparked impressive imagination. Incredible value for the money spent.

My grandson loved them

Not bad but smelly
The pirates looked good (or as good as you would expect for the pirce). However they smell terrible. I was using them to decorate a cake. I soaked them overnight in vinegar, baking soda, and Dawn dish soda, and it cleared the smell up. But you can't just open and use these.
