So I own Apple AirTags and I love the FindMy network. The problem with AirTags is while they look pretty, they need something to hold them, you have to replace the batteries AND they barely make a peep when you tell them to play a sound. Enter Pebblebee. I first came across their products when I got annoyed at the circular bump in my wallet from the rather thick AirTag sitting in it. I bought their magnetically rechargeable card-shaped finder. Not only is louder than the AirTag, but is is rechargeable. I don't even use the Pebblebee app so I don't have to make yet another account with somebody else or give them access to the location of any of my stuff. I just setup the Pebblebee card on Apple's FindMy Network in the FindMy app. So when it came time to buy another AirTag and a keychain holder for it, I got the Pebblebee Clip instead. - Rechargeable (check) - Super Loud (check) - Usuable without a keychain holder (check) The money you save on a keychain holder makes this cheaper, but the improved functionality would have me paying more for the Pebblebee Clip over an AirTag. On top of all this, Pebblebee offers a mechanism in their app to update the device firmware without ever creating a Pebblebee account and registering your device. They state it right on the primary screen of their app -- this shows me that they care about privacy. I love Pebblebee products now and I recommend them to anyone who asks me about AirTags.

I was pretty impressed with the older pebblebee it had a much better range compared to the apple air tag but the old one died completely and wouldn't take a charge after only 3 months and the battery is not replaceable so I thought this one would be a good upgrade, not even close! this thing is so weak I can be standing a floor below and it won't even register on the tracker. Then I walk upstairs and I'm 20 feet away with one small kitchen divider wall between me and the dining room table and the buzzer doesn't even activate, though the app says its buzzing anyways. To make it worse the day I got it my cat got out and I walked around for hours trying to buzz the collar and trying to locate it on the app and there again it said it was buzzing but I was only a few yards away, the cat ended up laying in the grass next door the whole time and the app didn't pick him up or buzz, even though the app said it was beeping. This thing is completely worthless, I'g go back to the old one because it had decent range but they die completely within 3 months, the add says the battery will last 6 months, NOT and the range is 500 feet NNOOTT, its about 200 feet at best on the old one, and the new one is in consistant even at 30 feet in line of sight. save your money the Pebblebee is a failure the old one doesn;t lat and the new one is completely useless.

Super misleading. "Number of Items: 2” but only ONE! I can live with it. Won’t return it. But unless it blows my socks off won’t be back for more. Wanted rechargeable. I should have slowed down as the deal seemed to good to be true, one for $29 or 4 for $99. The other option said "Number of Items: 4” so it seemed logical 2 meant 2 trackers. But assumed this was to get them moving and up there with AirTags. There is a key ring so maybe that is the 2nd item?! But then again the charge cable makes that three. No idea how well it works, but I am still feeling misled. Oh well. One tracker. My bad. And they’re bad. Buyer beware! Maybe a good item, but not an appropriate or accurate listing. Months later. Works fine. Had to recharge once. I get notices all the time about left behind as it is in my backpack which I use for my laptop. For now. On the Apple FindMy. Not sure why others have issues. Maybe quality control. So far happy.

First off, I have a few AirTags and one of these PebbleBee Clips. The build quality of the pebblebee is far superior to the AirTag and is solid when attached using the provided clip to my car key. I chose to connect it to the Apple FindMy system as the tracking is superior as anyone with an iPhone will update the Clips location. I also like the fact that this device is charged up with the provided USB-C Cable. The only con is that this device does not provide "Precise Tracking" that the AirTag has when the arrow points to the nearby location with a feet estimation. This device works well, and I prefer it over the AirTag where precise finding isn't needed.

Not worth buying. I’ve had so many issues with this tracker. With the Pebblebee’s app, it does not track the GPS it tracks the location on my phone. It works on find my iPhone but only if connected with wifi 😒 so if i leave my house the item is undetectable I’m not comfortable connecting to just any wifi so this really sucks. Waste of money.
