Witchy Cauldron Lepus Tarot (Special Edition)

I love tarot, hares, and dark art, so when I saw this deck, it did not take long for me to add this to my cart. First thing's first, I got the Standard Deck because the price couold not be beat, and on sale was half the price of the Special Edition. So with the Standard Deck, the edges are not blue, and it comes in a regular box, like a typical Ryder Waite box. On the one hand, there is no typo, but honestly I love the feel of the nicer box with the lid (from other decks I have), even with a typo. Second, the edges in the Standard Deck are not that beautiful blue, which I did not realize when I purchased.So my initial reaction when the deck arrived was I was bummed that it wasn't the nicer box, and when I removed the deck from the box, I was bummed the edges weren't that metallic blue. BUT, the artwork, feel, vibrancy of color and gloss of this deck is hands down the best in my collection of tarot and oracle cards. Wow! What beautiful and incredibly vibrant color, even in the "dark" photos. I am so pleased with this deck, and honestly they're so incredibly beautiful I feel like even though I got the Standard Deck, with the cheaper box and plain edges, I completely scored an exquisite deck.These are definitely not for the beginning tarot reader but are a must for anyone who loves hares and a beautiful deck to add to their collection. You can decide if a nicer box with a typo and those pretty blue edges are worth double the price, but just get one!

Had my eye on this one for a while and pounced when I saw it on sale. It's absolutely beautiful. I was aware of the typo in the lid and it doesn't bother me. The artwork is intriguing, the colors are gorgeous and I like how it holds true to the Rider-Waite-Smith deck as far as the images go. The cards are very thick, in a good way, they feel very hig quality. Love this deck and am pleased with my purchase.

Had these on my wish list for over a year, and finally bought them as a Yule gift to myself. The art work is absolutely amazing and I am so glad I purchased them. This is my first tarot deck, so I was super grateful that there is a booklet inside that explains each card. Highly recommend these!

The deck images are very dark. Markedly, that they did not expect that the image would turn out so dark when printed. And the black frame makes it even darker. The quality of the cardboard of the cards and the box is excellent.

This is a very unique tarot deck. The illustrations drew me in. I was fully aware of the typo inside the box lid before placing my order. For me I did not feel it would detract from the deck and it definitely did not. Unfortunately I had to return the deck I received due to Amazon’s packaging and shipment . It was in a bubble mailer that wasn’t enough protection. The box was dented up. Also, I don’t think I received a new deck. There was no shrink wrap around it and not belly band around the deck inside the box. This is no fault of the seller, Witchy Cauldron. Love the deck and my other purchases from them!

Exquisite.The Lepus Tarot is a beautiful deck. I've taken a little time to work with it before reviewing and have to say this deck deeply resonates with me. The imagery is evocative and profound. The colors are exquisite. Each card has a thoughtful balance of light and dark, making reversals unnecessary. The book even has full color images of each card.I have two pieces of criticism. First, there are some minor production flaws (cracks and bumped corners on the box) that might bother collectors. This is not a concern for me as I plan to use the heck out of this deck. Second, there are some glaring typos. Future editions would greatly benefit from a professional proofreader/copy editor.I highly recommend Lepus Tarot and I truly hope there will be future editions of this exquisite deck.

These cards are vibrant in color with beautiful images. The foil edges are absolutely gorgeous and. The cards are very thick which makes them almost impossible for me to shuffle since my hands are small. I’m hoping I can break them in and not have the same issue or I’ll need to find another way to move them around. The one thing that was very disappointing was the box. It was ripped open on both sides of one end so the cards can just fall out if your not carrying the box a certain way.

For folk who hold an affinity with hares, these are a delight in color and design. In addition, they are very good at inserting mnemonic devices into the picture which I have found very helpful while learning Tarot. The interpretations are worded in a way that is clear and sensible. I only wish they would have included inverted divination meanings. The book is tidy and economical in terms of information. It's become a very helpful addition to my library of resources.

It was love at first site as I saw the deck. Very talented illustrator, cute figures, very well done cards, RWS based. I am not happy with the cardstock though, too slippery, too shiny, but that's just me. Still, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It's a lovely deck!

Beautiful cards, excellent quality and only a fraction of the price that you would pay for an alternative deck anywhere near this quality. Really pleased. Blessed be ❤️
