Have an electrician in house, so he was able to install this in just a few minutes. The installation is straightforward, and not complicated. Like the design and the color matches our previous switch plate. The switch works great with our ceiling fan and lights. The style of the switch is easy to turn on and off, and there is nothing sticking out that can break off or bend. The previous switch had tabs that kept getting knocked off and finally broke. This one looks much better.

I replaced the fans in my kids room with some newer units that use LED bulbs. The old dimmers caused flickering and made the lights all but useless. This is a simple drop in replacement and it solves the LED issue by taking the light off a dimmer and putting it on a switch. NO MORE FLICKERING.

Easy Install: Insert wire and tighten screw. No wire nuts needed. Dimmer is similar to Leviton Sure Slide but less expensive. Generally dimmer works very well. The problem is LED lights, lights with drivers work better than without, limited dimming range with LED, doesn't dim as much as incandescent bulbs, lower dimming helped by lower wattage LED's.

However it is difficult to fit two side by side in a commercial grade (Fl code) metal w/ring two gang box it’s there width and side connection could touch side of box without using electrical tape to wrap after connecting the wiresTwo fit perfectly in a blue plastic gang box…

This switch looks good and so far has been working well. However it does not have wires like some other models. This is not a problem but just something to be aware of.

looking for a dimmer switch and fan control that matched. These do. But the rocker switch on the dimmer is very stiff and feel like it is going to break. It is just not "smooth". And the dimmer slide is so short that it is hard to set to the desired setting.I installed them and am very happy wi the fan speed module, but the light dimmer module is not great. I am sure that I will be replacing these at some point.

I am a builder/remodeler by trade: I work with and install electrical components on a near daily basis.I bought a set of 6 of these as a retrofit for the dimmer switches in my own home.My house is older and has rotary dimmers.Rotary dimmers don’t play well with dimmable LED lights as they will usually make the lights flicker and/or pulse.I wasn’t concerned about using a specific style of switch so I chose these switches due to the per-switch price point only.These switches are stated to be for LED lights so I figured they should be just fine for my need.Upon installing one I discovered that if I dim the lights, even slightly, the switch buzzes.The more I dimmed the light, the louder the buzz got.At their dimmest setting, the buzz could be heard around a corner and 20+ feet from the switches location.I removed that switch and tried another from the box.It did exactly the same thing.I also discovered that it still made the lights flicker while using the dimmer, which is the very reason I am replacing the old switches to begin with.The flicker wasn’t as bad as the old rotary switch, but still very bothersome & annoying none the less.I cannot recommend these switches in any way.I was able to return the switches for full refund.
