No exiration date considering this is an SPF.
I wanted something like this for an instant leg tan with SPF. There no expiration date on the carton and we all know SPF has to have an expiration! The website does not show this anymore so I suspect it is discontinued! Not what you want in an SPF. Darn it. I don't tan anymore and who wants sickly white legs.

Great Self Tanner . . . and it is a self-tanner
So I found that this product works great to create an instant tan as well as a long term self tan. It is very dark out of the bottle but it blends easily and can work well even on my very fair and freckled skin. Why only 4 stars? Because this is a self-tanner and it doesn't call itself that. I can't use self-tanner on my legs, or anywhere that I shave, without having a terrible allergic reaction. Thank goodness I've had this problem long enough that I paranoidly read the labels and know what ingredients I react to. Also, thanks to the internet I know this is a problem that A LOT of people have. It would be great if this was relabeled to note that it does contain self tanning agents, as well as SPF, instant color, and hydration. Even better, it would be fantastic if the self-tanner were taken out, as some of us still love the look of instantly tanned skin without that irritation.Otherwise, this is great!

Are you a luxury SPF person?
Thisworks does work, at a price. Some of us think that Coppertone is pricey at approximately 62 cents an ounce. If you are reading this review, you know that premium beauty products price their sunscreens into the stratosphere, indeed so high they are indeed flying close to the sun. This 3.3 ounce size of sunscreen is actually more than that. It’s makeup for your legs to hide blemishes. So, in my opinion, forget the notion of using by the pool or beach unless you have no intention of going in the water. At $17.58 an ounce at the time of this review it does provide SPF 30 protection at 18 times the cost of Coppertone, assume the Coppertone is not on sale. We’re also wondering why no ingredients hierarchy here? Ironically, The active ingredient is found in several other similar products, too: Zinc Oxide. One advantage to the tiny tube: easy to travel with and meets airline requirement for carry-ons as you embark on your private island getaway. We also constructively suggest that Thisworks add the full ingredients list here. After all, we deserve to know what’s going on our beautiful legs.

This really does work
This stuff is impressive. The photo shows one leg with the product applied and one without. It immediately improves the tone and texture of my legs. It comes out like a bronzing stain with gold shimmer in it. It’s ultra fine glitter so it just provides light refraction to diffuse imperfections, it doesn’t appear glittery at all. I don’t spray it on because it’s too messy. I spray multiple sprays into my hand and then apply to my legs. For the most part, it doesn’t rub off onto clothes once dry but it did leave light staining inside the leg hems of my shorts when I applied 2 coats and went to a outdoor party. The sunscreen works well. I spent a day poolside (ok, most if it was in a cabana) and my legs are not any more tan than they were before. It has a light, slightly herbal scent. It stays in very well but will wash away with soap and water. It’s lightly moisturizing but will not leave any oily or sticky feeling. As someone who believes in sun protection and the battle against skin cancer and premature aging, I would definitely recommend. Please hit the button if this info was helpful.

This "Doesn't" Works (for me)
First pic of my hairy leg in all its glory shows what 1 squirt looks like. 2nd pic shows what that squirt looks like rubbed in...you'll notice if you look closely past the hair in the 2nd pic that the pores on my leg are now darker than the rest of my skin. I don't like that. This leaves behind a trace of color. If you're not pastey and ghostly like me I'm going to guess you'll get to enjoy the spf and moisturizing benefits but no color will show for you. It smells like lavender and my skin feels softer and moisturized. But the coloring is an issue. I dont want big dark pores on my legs. I already have that issue in some areas and I'm not looking to enhance it. I typically use a sunless tanner but due to a busy work schedule I haven't reapplied in 2 weeks. I think I'll make time for that soon because although it doesnt offer spf it's less expensive and doesn't darken my pores - and I can rub sunscreen over top once its developed 🤷♀️ I would've really loved this if it weren't for that problem. Hopefully not everyone will experience that, but I do and therefore won't recommend this product (though I do in general recommend ThisWorks as I have a handful of other products from this brand that are fabulous).

Works well and I didn’t need to reapply but too pricy for me
I really like it, but don’t think it’s worth the inflated price. I used this for my first public appearance of the summer. At first I sprayed it and it looked splotchy and my legs looked like a mess! However, after it was rubbed in properly it looked very natural. I am also very sensitive to sun for the first part of summer. I was worried that the 30 wouldn’t be enough to keep my legs from breaking out, but it ended up working well. My legs looked less white than they did before I applied the sunscreen and it kept my legs from getting burned. I only applies it once during a full day at the waterpark and which included several hours floating in the river. I still felt like I had to scrub it off that night in the shower. I like that I don’t have to reapply like normal sunscreens, however I just can’t justify the price personally. Maybe if I was rich and didn’t have kids, but too late for that now.
