StarbucksDark French Roast Whole Bean Coffee, 12 Ounce (Pack of 6)

This is my all-time favorite Starbucks coffee. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I’d heard a lot about this coffee from a friend and thought I would sample some. It’s a smooth tasting brew along the order of an espresso. I prefer a richer bolder brew with a lingering aftertaste that is missing for me in this Sumatra. In all it’s a good coffee just not quite what I was looking for. Taste is an individual preference. My friend loves it. You might love it as well.

This coffee is very delicious, it's a strange flavor at first because it's very low in acidity but once you get used to it, it's a coffee you can't live without. If you like to alternate between a more acidic coffee and something less acidic this will be an essential part of your coffee cabinet. The one thing I would complain about is the lack of an expiration date on the bags

I grind the beans and mix with my cornflakes.Mmm- good!

I love Caffe Verona and it's all we drink. Love the fullness of the flavor and I use extra beans to grind it strong. We use it to make our daily skinny latte.

Love it. The only thing being confusing me is that says to consume “within a week” and I think they should explain that better because a bag of whole beans give you TONS of coffee! I think I have coffee for months! Is only my husband and I and we do coffee once a day and sometimes we skip a day. So how I will preserve the coffee if they say not to out in the freezer because lost the moisture? I gave the 5 stars but wanted to give 4 for the lack of explanation and kinda absurd how this works. I understand that coffee is not fresh forever, but they don’t explain better what to do to preserve the coffee for longer then a week..? Seriously, its sounds (when you read on the bag) that the coffee will not be good after that week, so I should throw it out? It’s just a lik frustrating...

I really need to learn metric measures. This is WILDLY OVERPRICED.

Great tasting coffee that arrived on time

Starbucks seems to have replaced the Italian roast shown in image which contains notes of caramelized sugar with an Italian blend with notes of dark cocoa and toasted marshmallows and have told me that it is the same coffee. It isn’t!! The new package no longer shows a Vespa.

Even though I am fan of dark roast this wasn't particularly exceptional. In fact the coffee beans were pretty old and there are much fresher alternatives available on Amazon. Definitely not find it again, complete waste of money.

Smelt and tasted awful. I’ve never had coffee that smelt or tasted like this. Something was really off.
