I tried a few drugstore (Walmart, cvs, etc) available options for micro-rollers before finally just ordering StackedSkincare's. I read a review by a journalist that came up on Cosmo's snapchat about how she used StackSkincare's micro-roller for a month and the results...after seeing the roller also came w a more than reasonable price tag ($30 ...only slightly more expensive then the drugstore options I'd been using). I was still curious to see...would there be a true difference? The answer: after just a few uses I can tell you w/o hesitation YES! The needles are more gentle than any of the other versions I'd tried, yet somehow allow for better penetration of the serums. I have been using for about a week with my Vitamin C serum, Hyaluronic serum and Peptide serum (not from Stacked...I'll invest in that when I can but for now I use another brand) and the difference is WOW! Every morning I'm excited to get up and look at my skin in the mirror. My hormonal acne (I'm 28 so I struggle w monthly breakouts like clockwork) has dissipated (happened to get my roller the week before my period was due, I saw no change in my skin when my hormonal bud came to call). This alone would be reason to sing this roller's praises but it's also made a noticeable difference in my skins overall texture and my completion's vibrance. My skin is "glowing". Without makeup I feel confident taking video calls (I work from home) and my co-works and partners have actually remarked on how great my skin looks. With makeup ...it's almost unbelievable. My makeup goes on smoother, I have to use far less and I walk out of the house looking airbrushed everyday. I plan on ordering w/ the subscription model now that I know it's worth it. I recommend Refinery29, Cosmo, BuzzFeed, Mashable but there are tons of great ones - find your best fit based off your interests. You never have to post a single Snap yourself (although the filters are fun) - it's truly a great way to curate a newsfeed that caters to all of your interests*

I bought this after reading about it in a magazine article. It's pretty decent, doesn't hurt too bad except the forehead! Feels like a sunburn. The needle size is good for helping your skin absorb products better, however thats it. If you're looking for change in skin texture/scar repair you'll need to look for longer needles!

I want to start off by saying that I have combination skin, fine lines around my eyes (from squinting), acne flare ups around my period, some acne scars and I have never liked a beauty product enough to review it online. Although I have tried lots of products ranging from drugstore buys to more expensive brands. I try to find natural products when possible because I have very sensitive skin and do a fair share of investigating before I buy something. I’ve been reading reviews on microneedling for awhile and decided to give it a try because why not? Beauty products are fun! I bought this one in particular because of its quality and I’ve read that using any needle larger than this could be harmful to your skin of done at home. When I tried it for the first time I was pleasantly suprised that it didn’t hurt to use at all because the needles are so small. I don’t ‘love’ the feeling of it on my face but I do love the results I’ve seen. I’ve actually started using it every night before I apply my serum. I’ve been using true c and rose hip seed oil as well. In the past few weeks I’ve notices a big difference in my skin that I’ve never had with anything else. My acne scars look way less noticeable, my skin looks bight, even toned, clear and firm. I really hope anyone who reads this review will take a chance and buy this because you’ll be so glad you did. It will become you beauty regimen MVP in no time.

I do love the results of using this product and really wanted to give it 5 stars. But i cleaned mine for 2-3 minutes in a cup of 90% alcohol and after the very first time of doing that it started squeaking loudly.I have sensitive skin and some mild acne. It is a little painful but worth it for the results of my dry skin absorbing much more of my products. However It feels more painful to me when I hear it squeaking! So I will buy a different one in the future unless they have some resolve to my issue.

This roller is MAGIC! I can’t believe how amazingly it works. I use it once a week and I can absolutely see the difference.Make sure to sanitize both before and after in alcohol. I pour a cup of isopropyl alcohol in a plastic cup and submerge the roller. I let it sit while I shower then I let dry. After, I use my serum all over my face. Then I roll. Following that I use the serum again. My skin looks youthful and clean. It looks Dewey too.Just be careful not to roll over any existing acne. It will inflame your skin and make the acne worse.Make sure to sanitize the same way you did in the beginning. I use a new cup with new isopropyl alcohol and let it sit for 20-30 min.Use the container to lock in the freshness and keep our germs.

My roller started to squeak after about the third use so I took a little bit of pure coconut oil and melted it between my fingers and rubbed it on the outside of the wheel on both sides in between where the handle meets the wheel and it took the squeak out and it also made the roller so much smoother. Not recommended dry skin. Followed instructions well. Was hoping to reduce fine lines but after using it twice, it was drying my skin and pores are more open. Third day and my skin looks awful.
