ICEPURE RWF5800A Refrigerator Water Filter Compatible with Frigidaire EPTWFU01, EWF02, Pure Source Ultra II, 3PACK

We bought these for our fridge when it was time to finally replace our old filter. My husband is the one who swapped them out, and initially the water flow was terrible, the ice maker wasn't making ice, I thought these were a bust and was so disappointed because the name brand replacements are $50 each. But I had hubs pull the filter so I could give it a once over and there was a sticker on the bottom that he forgot to pull that was restricting the flow of water through the filter. Since we fixed that issue, the filter has been GREAT. The water tastes good, it's easy to install (provided you don't forget the sticker lol), and it's an amazing value for your money.

One replacement was almost $60 but we found these and got 3 of them for around $40 and they seem to work just as well so seems like a very good deal. No problems with it at all so far.

Perfect fit in my Frigidaire Gallery fridge. Ran about 1/2 gallon of water through it, and it cleared quickly. Taste is fine. Only reason for only 4 stars is not sure yet of longevity.

I bought this filter to replace a EWF02 cartridge. It came with great instructions on the box to install, works great, and I saved a boatload over the Electrolux filters. These are 1/3rd the cosd. Both the name brand filters and these are filtering your water through charcoal, a time tested method. Pay attention to the instructions after you initially install it. The water may spurt out with air and the initial collection of water will have a lot of charcoal in it. But that quickly subsides and you need to just run a few gallons through it, and you're done.

Frigidaire EPTWFU01 cartridge to expensive so I ordered this one. The fit is extremely tight and difficult to turn into place. The line/filter is now rattling when I try to dispense water and the flow is terrible. I think the fit or seal isn’t great and now I may have air in the line. I threw out one filter and used another with the same result. I end up replacing cartridge assembly and hose going down in back of the refrigerator. I went to Lowe's and got a frigidaire filter, now it works great.

Slightly different but on the end, just a cosmetic difference.
