Follow the directions, you'll be good
Great table, came on time. Reviews mention build problems but if you pay attention to the directions you'll be good. Just note there is a slight difference in distance from holes to edge of table on underneath of tabletop, you'll be good. Reviews also say weak hinges, but just don't treat it poorly and you'll be good. I love it it, especially using it like a TV tray when eating.

Very nice table for the price, easy assembly
Nice table. Not all that hard to assemble either. Very sturdy as well.

Look carefully at the instructions!
I paid someone to put this together for me, and he did it incorrectly. If you put the right hinge on the left hand side and vice versa, there will be about a quarter inch gap when you close the lid (the video and photos afterwards show the error.) The hinges that attach the lid to the base aren’t exactly the same. There is a left side hinge and a right side one. You have to compare the hinges to the diagram in step 13 to make sure that they are attached properly, otherwise there will be that gap. The table itself is sturdy enough, although it’s advisable to use both hands when opening and closing the lid. Any oils on your hands will transfer to the tabletop. I use a microfiber cloth to clean off fingerprints. It’s a nice size at over 40”, so I have plenty of room for my laptop and lunch. I think I might even be able to sew on it. Overall, it’s a good buy for the price.

Good for price point
Very hard to put together, the value for your money is worth it but was not functional trying to lift up as it was difficult to do, heavy, and looked crooked. The size is accurate and it is big enough to use in your living room, the look of the black color is nice, and definitely sturdy. My only complaints would be how hard it is to lift up and put together. Fingerprints do show up on it easily so you will need to wipe it down frequently. It comes with stickers that match the table so you can cover up where the screws are so it looks presentable. Overall for short term use I would say this is nice but would invest in something of better quality if you’re looking for something with ease of use for long term.

Far better than our Ikea Table
I wanted a coffee table for the couch in our movie room, so we gave this one a shot. It's sturdy, fairly easy to build, and looks pretty good. It's a little smaller than I thought based on the images, but still a very good fit for a three-seater couch. The best part of this table is that the top lifts up and towards the couch (or away, if you face it the wrong way), giving you an area to work. Perfect for using a laptop, but even just for drinking coffee and having it close to the couch it's a neat feature. When the top is lifted, you gain access to some storage space inside the table, and who doesn't love a hidden compartment to store your clutter? I'd for sure buy this again, and suggest it to anyone who wanted a lift-top coffee table that doesn't cost a bundle. The build quality is as good as Ikea, perhaps better, but if you've built Ikea furniture before you've got a pretty good idea of what this is like and how long difficult it is to build. Two thumbs up, recommended!

Flimsy and cheaply constructed
Looks like a coffee table of sorts, assembly is fairly easy. Instructions leave a lot to be desired. Quality of finished product is poor and flimsy. I suppose for $100 you get what you pay for. Would not purchase again. Just keeping because I don’t want to haul it to the dumpster.

Great little coffee table for a good price
The dimensions of this coffee table are slightly bigger than other tables of this kind (45x21 vs 42x20) which is what I was looking for. The table has a wood-like finish and looks very nice. I do like the shelf and the storage compartment to store and have various things handy. I added casters to move the table out of the way easily when needed. That also increased the height by 2 inches. Including adding the casters, the assembly took me ca 4 hours from start to finish by myself. I did use an electric screwdriver, which made it much easier to put everything together. It feels sturdy enough even with the lift table up. It does take two hands and a little care to open and close the lift table. I have only had it a week, but so far I am very happy with the Panana Lift Top Coffee Table.

Nice but short and flimsy?
Nice table overall. A little short for my liking. I sat on the couch and pull up the lift top and it barely got over my knees. The lift top also is a little flimsy? Wabbly? Basically the left and the right lift mechanisms are independent and you almost have to wiggle it left and right a little as you pull the top up. Maybe if you are skilled enough.. you might be able to pull the top straight up with both hands in one smooth motion. Once the top comes up. It’s pretty stable. But for the price. This is very reasonable.
