Love the wooden grill scraper. We bought one at Costco and it works great. Went to buy a second one, but they no longer had it, so where to turn? Amazon of course! Great price. Same idea as the one at Costco. No need to worry about wire bristles falling off onto the grill. Wooden scraper cleans off the excess like a charm

Very attractive piece of woodwork! I changed to wood scrapers for my grills to avoid two things inherent in wire/metal scrapers: damage to porcelain/ceramic covered grates and possible bits of wire in my burger. This scraper works well, but when new it doesn't get between the grates as efficiently as it should after "worn in." If you keep it out of the weather between uses, it should last for years. Bottom line - a safer alternative to wire brushes or chemicals.

Paddle breaks in immediately on a hot Weber grill grate. The grooves were deep set in about a minute or so of work. Once the paddle is broken in, it does a very good job of cleaning my Weber grill. I have tried wire brushes and crumpled up tin foil. This method is superior and safer.

We had 2 of these (bought from Costco) and absolutely loved them! You hold them up to the hot grates on the grill & they form grooves on the wooden scraper - specially to fit the grates on your grill & make cleaning safer (not using wire bristles that can fall off & get In your food) We recently bought 2 new Weber grills (gas & charcoal) and of course Costco didn't have any so I turned to Amazon - These are nice & sturdy - they do a good job of cleaning the grills but we have used several times & the grooves have not formed - It's still solid straight accross ???

I bought the Velesco BBQ Wooden Grill Scraper Cleaner after finding my "steel wire brush" grill cleaner left a metal wire on the grill which as well all know can be very dangerous(getting cooked/stuck in your food item and then ingesting). I obviously removed the wire from the grill and immediately threw the brush in the trash. I DO NOT under ANY circumstances recommend using a metal wire grill cleaner for barbecues. Wood grill cleaners are the safe way to go. Excellent product!

I am so sorry I bought 5 of these as gifts. I've never been so embarrassed. The wood splinters and just putting it in a gift bag part of the end broke off of 3 of them.

item came damaged . corner was cracked . decided to keep it and deal with it.

This is a solid piece of equipment and much more robust than I initially thought from the picture. Very solid, works great, and gives me piece of mind about not using wire brush with bristles. Now I just have to convince my toddler that it's not a paddle for the pool!
