Bought this about a year ago and it worked alright for that long, so when it stopped working I repurchased the same one hoping for the same longevity. It’s just stopped working today, after less than a month of use, and no fix (fuse changing doesn’t work, no wire damage, etc). When it did work, it got very hot and had a strong smell.

I bought this as my OEM charger dies a horrible death - well it just conked out.I bought htis as it was available for same day delivery and had checked it was suitable for my machine and that it was 19V.When it arrived I noticed it was 19V 3.4 A, and my old one was 19V 2.9A - but I checked with some tekky friends and htye told me that was fine, that it offered more of a buffer against it shorting again - but do check it for yourselves.Has been happily charging my laptop for a day now, on and off, and works quickly and efficiently and the inbuilt battery charge test systems on my machine say it is all fine so am happy so far. If it doesn't last or anything happens - I will update, otherwise a good buy.

This didn't serve me well. It charged my PC sometimes but didn't charge at other times even though the light indicator was on. I tested with someone else's charger, and it consistently charged my PC. Had to return this one.
