This storage tin works great for keeping paperwork, dry and bad weather and clean.

After reading some of the reviews of this product I was a little hesitant to order for fear of some cheap, tinny, piece of crap. But, I figured I wasted $25 on dumber stuff so I ordered away. And I'm glad I did. I've been using this about 8 months now as an on the road forklift technician so I have put this thing through the ringer. It's been dropped, dragged, thrown, covered with hoses and parts and pretty much put through abuses that an aluminum clipboard probably shouldn't be put through. I will say I am very pleased with it's toughness. I don't give five stars easily. Out of the box it feels like a cheap product that would bend if the wind blew too hard on it.......wrong!! It is actually very sturdy and very tough. The metal clip to hold your papers has an excellent spring and still holds papers securely. The spring mechanism that holds the lid closed is as tight eight months later as it was out of the box. The inside is large enough to hold some pens and plenty of work orders and my clipboard needed no deburring as I see in other reviews. Not quite sure what that is all about. I was very pleased to find something made in the USA that was great quality, sturdy and priced right. Great job Saunders! If you make your living on the road like I do you will not go wrong buying this product.

Solid and sturdy. Second clip board I’ve bought of this brand

The box is pretty good for what it costs but the lid flexes and bends inward. Way too thin for what i had hoped. This works be fine for everything you might want to use it for, unless you're using a ruler or straight edge - the middle bows inward and it's hard to draw straight lines. It has more storage than my old one, which is what I wanted. The sections inside are appropriately sized for pencils and erasers and a 6 inch rule. Probably going to epoxy something inside the lid to straighten it up.

Sturdy, unbreakable, and inexpensive.

This works great. Plenty of storage. I use it everyday. I don't abuse it or throw it around so I don't have any issues with it.
