Nice Ice Making System
I wanted to wait about a year before I reviewed this item for a couple of reasons, one to be able to comment on how well it worked, and two to be able to comment on how well it held up. What made me by the system in the first place was because my 12 year old refrigerator ice maker decided to die and I was not wanting to pay $500+ to fix the ice maker. I found the PHINOX ice trays, and they happened to be on sale when I bought it. When I first got it, it felt somewhat light weight and I was concerned that I would break it after a few weeks. Fast forward about a year and it is still going strong. In fact it worked so well I had to buy another one for the Lady in my life after she decided the "high end" ice cube trays that she had were cumbersome and really did not work for her needs.First glance opinion. They look like a gimmick with the stacking trays and the lid with the pins to push out the ice cubes when they are ready to be used. The cubes look small but when you place them in a glass or a mug the small cube shape actually fits better and you are able to have more cubes in your drink. Plus I was used to an ice maker that also made smaller cubes. They can take a while to freeze at first. It seems like over time they freeze faster, especially if you have ice in the storage tray underneath. After a year: The trays are solid and the silicon rubber in the trays does not seem to be showing any signs of wear or tear. I have seen people say they had issues "After they ran them through the dishwasher." Um.. sure.. who does that? I have been making ice once or twice a week, and I have not had any problems. I sometimes use the little ice scoop that comes with it, especially if someone is watching me. The storage bin can hold about three trays of ice, and the lid seems to help prevent the ice from gathering any food smells from items in the fridge. It takes up about the same amount of space as the traditional old school ice cube trays but it is a bit taller. I can see that if you are not paying attention it would be easy to spill water out of the trays when you put it back in the freezer after filling them, so you need to make sure that you keep it very level when you carry it.Overall I am happy with the (double) purchase of the item and find it quite easy to use.

Great, DON'T DISHWASHER IT (but it's fine)
Firstly I'll list why I'm so happy I bought this and why I will be buying it again when it breaks/becomes unusable. It is compact, easy to fill, quick to hand rinse, doesn't leak, and even better - super duper easy to pop the cubes out. If you overfill it just run the bottom under some cool water for 30 seconds to a minute and it pops out easy. If you have motor disabilities (arthritis, weak wrists, poor hand grip, shaking hands, etc.) this is the tray I'd recommend for you. I intermittently experience weak hand grip. You just push from your elbows to free the cubes. Now as my title says, and the instructions and the product itself - it isn't dishwasher safe so do NOT run it through even for sanitization. To be fair, I haven't tested in a no heat run so maybe that's ok. I wouldn't risk it with it's ease to clean by hand.We forgot and ran it in the dishwasher (we didn't use heated dry, just a water temp boost). It shrank a smidge and the plastic for the cubes is noticably thinner and stretchier. It still fits together (with effort) and I'll update this after I crack the cubes but it has lost it's ease of use due to the mistreatment. Again, I will be buying a replacement it's just a matter of when. You really can't beat the quality for price here.Edited 9/2/24So it's not as inconvenient as I thought it would be to use. It still cracks fine, and it's just tucking that first tray back in that you gotta lightly squeeze the tray. It's still easy to refill and keep using. Now that the cube plastic has chilled - it feels strong and thick again. We still ordered another one cause we go through ice like crazy!

Part 1 of 2.
I just received this teay yesterday, so this is just part 1 of 2 of my review. Will post a part 2 when fully used. Upon unwrapping, there was a definite chemical smell in the actual ice trays. I was expecting something similar since it's made of plastic and silicone, I believe. It's NOT dishwasher safe, as mentioned on product page. You will want to pre-wash it, or sure the ice will have an awful taste I pre-washed it by hand, using a brush from a set of dish washing/bottle cleaning brushes I have. The one that is a size larger than a straw cleaning lĺbrush was EXACTLY the right size for cleaning inside the ice cube areas of the trays. I got lucky! I have no idea how someone would clean these out without one of those brushes. I would suggest this company add a cleaning brush to the product set. One thing I want to point out for others who may not notice this. I read the title on this item and it said "..64 pcs ice trays for freezers...". Then I saw on the image that the storage bin can hold nearly 120 cubes. But when I got it I realized that the bin could prob hold 4 of the trays worth of ice, not 2. So I was confused about that! I counted and there are actually 32 pieces of ice PER TRAY. I bought the item that has 2 of the trays with it= 64 pieces of ice at once. I looked again and saw that on (I think it was) the 3rd picture in, it says at the bottom of the picture what the storage capacity is, then below that it's says "2 trays can make 64 cubes at one time". Point here is that I thought each trayade 64 pcs. because of the title of the item. But each makes 32! I usually noticed everything before buying but this time I must have skipped seeing that 3rd photo. I used a lot of words to say this: Essentially, yhe actual product makes ice that is twice the size I thought, but it's still smaller than standard trays. The size is very nice!!! Smaller pieces are much more versatile! AND that the ice bin actually holds about 4 trays worth, which is twice what I was expecting. Much better!!! Lol. As for filling the trays with water, that was a little more difficult than a standard tray, due to the size and caution I took to not overfill, and to attempt to keep the pieces around the same size. Usually I tip a tray while filling and it levels itself out. This one didn't do that. It became very uneven when I tried it. I put my faucet running very low, then held the tray and slowly moved from one space to another until they were filled. Stacking the trays on the bin, and adding the lid, was a bit shaky. It takes a tiny bit of care and effort to make sure they are on in exactly the correct spot, otherwise they will obviously tilt and could possibly spill a bit. Would probably just get uneven ice that wouldn't pop out as easily though. I can stack these without an issue, but my husband isn't as good with things like this. He has a tough time, for ex, with storage container lids that have sides with clips that lock downward over the edges. This has a similar feel when stacking, even though you don't lock anything on these. Someone didn't close the freezer all the way, and it got in the way of the ice being totally frozen. That's why I can't finish my review just yet. Will come back for part 2 soon! Part 2: After frozen, I followed the simple steps to empty ice trays into the bin. Very easy to do, they all came out fast and without need for a lot of pressure on the lid, which I appreciated. Overall opinion on this ice tray set is that it's wonderful! Totally worth getting! For me, much nicer than having gotten standard trays and an ice bin. I like the smaller cubes, and the overall footprint in the freezer. Allows for plenty of ice while leaving room for the frozen food I keep for my family of 5! Highly recommend!!!

Most amazing little ice cube tray and maker.
Works so well! Do not have a refrigerator that makes ice anymore but this comes darn close. The easy removal of the ice works great.

No cabe mucho agua
No vale la pena por el precio. Para que funciona, tendrá que poner muy poco agua, así los cubitos son muy pequeños.

Ice cube trays and bucket
Trays were good at releasing the ice. The only thing I would have liked the ice cubes to be a much larger size. They are cute but not practical for everyday use. Nice size for cocktail drinks

Great tray.
Works well. Find the lid doesn’t always help pop the cubes out but they aren’t too hard to push out.

So handy and great product!
This ice cube tray is exactly as described! I love having so much ice on hand and it makes really cute sized cubes that fit easily in my thermos! Also super fun to push down and release the ice cubes!
