I recently switched up to 4“ x 6“ index cards, old-school style for handling a lot of things that I like to do in my life. These include making notes to myself, organizing my thoughts for writing projects, jotting down to do list, notes, jotting down, sewing project, ideas, Putting down a little bits of fabric on sewing ideas, recipe cards, etc. But I needed a way to keep things organized and so I wanted to get some index cards and these just fit the ticket to keep things organized in some kind of a file box. I’m still working on the file box part because I want to put them in a cubbyhole in a desk. You can’t do everything on a smart phone. Anyway that little dividers are just great because they’re cheerful, and bright as opposed to just plain dull manila, which I had for my 3“ x 5“ cards. They’re sturdy, and they were a great value. I’m so glad I got them. In addition, 4“ x 6“ cards are easily cut in half and I have a Home paper cutting cutter, to make really small cards for just quick little things that you want to carry or if you need something smaller or two paper hole punch a hole in if you need to put swatches of fabric on something and take it to the fabric store, etc. so the 4“ x 6“ cards are really the best option for me. Of course if you cut them in half they can go side-by-side in your card file holder.

I needed this item for a work project- Plenty of room to write notes and is sturdy

Awesome for organizing my recipes. I used a label printer, and trimmed the labels to size. Perfect, easy and very affordable.

I love these, I thought they were more of a paper type of material, and that they would be super flimsy. They are like photo paper, it’s a thicker paper. Lined on the front and blank on the back. The card is 4x6, but the tab sticks out. I have a 4x6 index card box and they don’t fit straight up. We came with 5of each color. Over all super cute and work for what I need.

These 5x8 cards would have received a 5-star review, except for 1 basic fact...they're too wide by 1/8 inch. The interior of my 5x8 card box is exactly 8-1/8 inches. The cards did not slide in easily because they are exactly the same width measurement. It required me to slice off the 1/8 inch from each card to allow them to fit properly. If you don't have a similar device to mine shown, cutting with scissors would be a major pain and probably result in returned product to Amazon instead. Just FYI.

Dividers are perfect for organizing your recipe box however you want. Bright and perfect fit with my 4x6 recipe cards.
