LOVE this stuff
I'm impatient and enjoy being able to do things quickly, so this silicon is absolute heaven for me. As the instructions describe, it cures in 30 minutes to 1 hour, and sets up quickly. Thus, you definitely won't have time to put it into a vacuum chamber, but you don't need one, honestly. When cured, this silicon is extremely dense and degasses itself well. I've been using it to cast moulds of my 3D printed dice (in 3D printed houses!) and have had no issues with cure inhibition, nor have I had any cure inhibition when using it to cast things that are coated with Mod Podge spray. It also behaves well with mould release and vaseline. The silicon isn't too fussy about having a perfectly 1:1 ratio, but I can tell that adding too much of one tends to generate squishier moulds, and too much of the other makes even more dense moulds--but I'm not sure which part links to which result. One issue I have encountered is that, due to its high viscosity, air tends to get trapped in small crevices, preventing them from fully filling in (ie, numbers on dice). To amend this, I've figured out s few things:- You can delay the silicon curing/extend your working time by mixing and holding the silicon in an ice bath. It only adds maybe 3 or 4 minutes, but it's still useful. Either that or work on colder days; anything above 70F tends to result in this silicon setting up EXTREMELY fast, so I use ice baths to amend this. Holding it in an ice bath also seems to help bubbles rise, oddly enough?- It helps to, despite the working time, go slow! Mix up a bit of silicon at a time and pour in layers, tap each one down, wait for the bubbles to rise, repeat.- Mix up a small amount and use a *paint brush* to go over the small crevices with the silicon. Ensure each spot is filled thoroughly, ensuring that you absolutely get into the harder-to-reach spaces (like, in my case, the undersides of dice). Once again, I tap the mould housing down to dislodge any bubbles. This silicon is very cohesive and smoothes things out a LOT, so doing this essentially certifies that all the small sections are properly filled.

Order take 1 - received only one bottle (side A).Order take 2 - received only one bottle (side A).Tried to contact Alumilite via both website and customer service phone number. After over 11 minutes on hold - received a voicemail. Voicemail says I'll receive a call back in one business day.....I should've read the reviews before placing an order.
