HK Army HSTL Line Elbow Pads

Great fit for my fourteen year old son!

I use these for airsoft, the pads are made for paintball, and with these on, I can not feel BB's hit my arms. Which is a bit of a double edged sword, if I'm paying attention they're great, I hear and see the BB's hitting the pads; however, if I'm not paying attention it would be very easy to accidentally ignore all the hits and not call them. Other than that, they're great! They provide great protection from BB's and in-between games you can take them off to cooldown.

I bought the XL size because I have long arms. When I put my thumb in place, the pack still fits fine, but it my elbow seems to be more fitting on the right location if I don't use the thumb. However, it provides enough protection for the airsoft game, but it does feel uncomfortable at first.

I think I've had them out 7 times so far. Usually play 4-5 hours each time. Worn them under a jersey and with just a t-shirt and they're holding up great. Throw them in the washer with no problems and the padding is good for sliding or just playing in the woods and bumping into things. They're pretty forgiving on size but if you have large biceps go for the large.

A little snug for my arms which are a bit bigger (from fat, not muscle), but you forget about that when you're playing. Seems I get hit most where these protect so it's nice having less welts coming back from the field.

I'd say great protection and be good for bigger guys with bigger forearms but they are really bulky indeed
