CRONDA 5.5 Hours

gone over 5 dives professionally and I'll tell you how this product is ●it comes from China. so it's YOUR job to inspect evey mechanic over and test it liking in a bath tub or a pool ●I bought a 75ft extender from the same company and tried to return it for fun and they didn't give money back since they rather have Amazon pay the consumer back ●works amazing and does its purpose. you need to do research on how to scuba and swim properly- I've read some reviews and they seem to be people stressing out from scuba diving and not the actual product "panic attack" ●I've gone in a 245ft quarry and from my pictures I've took i can freely swim and be confident in my gear and my other gear i bought for swimming ●the filter for air is a charcoal filter. you MUST change it every 3 months or the air will get dusty in the tube and make it more clogged up to breath "that filter is on the back strap" ●it stays charged a whole day of diving and they give you a charger and some charcoal filters etc ●it does give a somewhat noticeable pumping noise on top of the machine when drawing in air that's normal. it'll also cut off the pumpin of air into the tube when it has meet a psi so it's not consistent air coming in your mouth which is very NICE ●DONT let others scare you from achieving new experices cause of theirs. I'll tell you I did my own research and studies before I used this gear other than your typical scuba tank. I went diving on my own and I felt safe with this device ●overall buy this if you can meditate your body in water and understand this is a dangerous activity but this product will reassure your safety and experience if you wanna scuba dive!

The unit and the charger that came with it did not work on arrival. The date of manufacturer was April 2023 ( it is now July 2025) and the batteries had gone completely flat. We had the item forwarded to another country and Amazon were worse than useless in helping return the item. They would not give us an address to return it to in the USA, they said they did not know the addresses and it could only be returned by UPS pickup from a US address. As returning it was out of the question we decided to try to charge it using another charger suitable for Lithium batteries, making sure to get the polarity right. Once we got a little charge in to the batteries the compressor worked and the original charger then worked too. It obviously cannot charge completely flat batteries. It is very bad service from both Amazon and Cronda that they send out old units with completely flat batteries. Any competent supplier would make sure the batteries were charged before they are sent out. Hopefully the unit will work for a period although the lifespan and length of run time is probably diminished. Very disappointed and would not recommend this item to anyone.

Seems to work very well

With four kids and living in Florida there are endless areas to explore. What better way than to get into the water, cool off and see the ocean life. Tried it out in the pool first to get used to it. Very easy to set up and use. We have since used it 3 times out in the ocean and get a lot of people asking what it is. This thing is amazing so far with the use that we have given it. Two things, if using in salt water make sure to rinse it off with fresh water when done. I have a toothbrush I keep with it to scrub the metals when done. Second is there is no carry “bag” or anything to put it in when transporting it. Minor things, this thing is a must if you love being in the water!

I ALMOST DROWNED USING THIS PRODUCT. I actually thought I was going pass out and die. I am a very fit 5'11" and 190 pound man. The first couple of times I used this product I was finding myself getting very winded after around 20 minutes of diving in around 10 feet of water. I didn't think much of it at the time and would just swim to shore, catch my breath and go back to diving. On my last dive, I accidentally got disoriented and found myself far from shore, in the middle of the lake. Because of the low airflow output, I was severely out of breath and weak. I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to make it back to shore. I had to spit out the mouthpiece, drop my weight belt and swim back to shore. I barely made it back before I started to pass out from lack of oxygen. I didn't realize just how poor the airflow output is for this product and what effects it does to the body in terms of the hypoxia. After this incident I started doing research and found that similar products have 2 or 3 times the amount of airflow output and that is why they are more expensive. This product is the CHEAPEST for a reason. It has the lowest airflow of ALL other diving ventilators. I've read some of the positive reviews and seems like the only people this product is suitable for is small children, NOT ADULTS! This product is DANGEROUS and SHOULD NOT BE FOR SALE ON AMAZON. It could cost you your life. It almost cost mine.

I took this on vacation so I could snorkel like I use to. Due to an injury I'm unable to use a snorkel, this gave me a chance to do that again. I did return it because it was to heavy and bulky to lug around, I had to pack it in a separate suitcase to being it with me. Also my wife helped me get it to the beach and back again. After a couple of times doing that we just left it in the hotel room and that was the end of my snorkeling. I'm hoping to find a different one that is more manageable. If you're healthy and strong this would be a great product to have, it's simply not for me because of health reasons.

I ordered this device last minute, hoping to enjoy it during my vacation in the Florida Keys. Unfortunately, it didn't work straight out of the box. That alone is frustrating, but what made it worse is the lack of response from the seller – I contacted them yesterday afternoon and still haven’t heard back. I’ll admit I should have tested it earlier, but a product like this should work right away. Amazon tried to help but could only refer me back to the unresponsive seller. Now I’m stuck with a brand-new device that’s completely useless, with no support and no resolution in sight. This has definitely put a damper on my vacation, and I wouldn’t recommend buying from this seller unless you’re okay with rolling the dice on both the product and the customer service.

I was very skeptical and tried it out before allowing the Grandchildren to use it. As a certified Scuba Diver using a tank and BCD, I was not fearful. It works perfectly as the most outrageous pool toy I have ever bought. 12 year old female and 9 year old male grandchildren visited today. They took one breath above water and then went under. My granddaughter progressed enough through taking her mask off and clearing it and mouth piece out of mouth and then using the purge valve to start breathing underwater again that I allowed her to use a weight belt. She stayed on the pool bottom for 11 minutes in perfect bliss. Lots of video with iPhone underwater. This item is a perfect 10. Best thing I have ever bought via Amazon.
